King Abdul Aziz International Airport- Passengers Terminal Building
The project is comprehensive and complex with many separate elements being constructed
in parallel. I managed the construction and coordinated the activities of the subcontractors
for all the elements of the Passenger Terminal Building including “Baggage Handling Sys-
tem”, “Automated People Mover rail and vehicles” and “Airport Systems”. The Passenger
Terminal Building is comprised of 800, 000 sq. m. built up area with 92 contact
passenger gates. The project houses state of the art baggage handling system (BHS) and
an Automated People Mover System (APM), 2 Data Centers, a 135 m. tall Airport Traffic
Control Tower, Transportation Center, Railway Station and Car Parks.

In charge of managing the construction of onshore and offshore works. I managed 8 con-
structions managers and assistants to oversee the site logistics, cast in situ concrete piles
and foundations for a multi-use facility. I was instrumental in developing the logistics plan
and the construction methodology for the project including the complex marine works for
the offshore hotel. The onshore part consists of 32-storey concrete residential tower and a
41storey composite structure office tower rising above a 100, 000 s.m. multi level com-
mercial podium containing shops, restaurants, skating ring the size of a hockey field, 9
movie theatres and underground car parking for 970 cars. The offshore part is a 36 storey
hotel that is a crescent shaped steel and concrete structure that sits on top of 3 under-
ground levels of car parking on a manmade island.

the construction of a clear span rigid frame helicopter hangar; installed electrical, water,
sewer, and road infrastructure; and constructed the installation’s perimeter security sys-
tem.

Project Manager -Managing the Hotel portion of the project and the overall project’s
buildings and podiums exterior building skin, roofing and hardscape. River East Centre is
a concrete structure composed of five (5) components totaling 2, 065, 447 square feet of
gross supported area. This project houses 1) a 15-story Embassy Suites Hotel with 456
rooms, 2) a 56-story residential tower with 620 condominium units, 3) two levels of retail
space including a restaurant and a health club, 4) a 4-level below-grade parking garage for
1, 142 cars, and 5) a one-level, 21-screen multiplex theatre.
• Dearborn Centre, Chicago, IL / $116 million
Project Superintendent on the 37-story multi-use steel structure development consisting of
three major functional components; below-grade parking, a low rise 11-story retail space
and offices in the tower, totaling 1, 740, 000 gross square feet. I coordinated the facets of
construction, oversaw the steel construction, exterior building envelope and the two high
end lobbies finishes construction, exterior landscape and coordinated tenant fit out works.

• Millennium Centre. Chicago, IL / $180 million
Project Superintendent on parts of the 60-story multi-use contemporary concrete and glass
structure that includes 428 residential units, 6 town homes, and 10 story parking facility. I
managed the construction of the townhomes, pool, gymnasium, retail stores and the exte-
rior hardscape. As well I liaised with the tenants during the completion of the residential
units. This is a postmodern residential skyscraper that rises approximately 190 meters and
house s retail stores on the ground floor.
• U.S Courthouse and Federal Building, Sacramento, CA / $129 million
Construction Manger responsible for the construction and coordination of all activities for
the museum, lobbies, judges’ chamber, exterior building envelope, hardscape and plaza
works. As well I was in charge for the assembly of the building skin components at an off
site facility. This 18 floors, 107 meters tall postmodern structural steel building, granite,
limestone and curtain wall skin houses 19 courtrooms and a turret shaped museum.

lice compound for two 850-man Special Police Regiment Operations, including 15 bar-

water management system, sanitary sewer distribution system, water supply/distribution
