Position: Associate Manager BSS Operations
(WLL - CDMA 2000 1X)

Main Responsibilities in BSS Operations - Lucent Flexent BSS Systems

Installation of Flexent BSS system modules which included indoor Modcell 4.0 cabinet, amplifiers, CCU cards,
CMU cards, EFIM, UCRs, TDU and P2PAMs
Installation, supervision and performance analysis of PSAX, STM & SDH IV links
Routine maintenance of microwave links and optimization of link quality wherever needed
Microwaves, Ericsson and Lucent (PSAX) equipments
Responsible for overall system performance, routine maintenance and optimization related issues
Analyze the drive test results and diagnose the possible hardware malfunctioning on regular basis
Look after the alarm status in the network and rectify the amplifier low power, TX port and TDU alarms
Manage affairs between different operators and regulates inter-operator media quality
Perform drive test with the optimization team for any outstanding issue and provide recommendations
Responsible for network expansions and future deployments along with frequency planning and site up gradations to either single or dual carrier configurations
BSS Operations - ZTE ZXC-10 BSS Systems
Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Microwave, BTS, BSC
Installation and operation of Ericsson microwave (Mini Links).
Installation of ZXC-10 BSS indoor cabinet along with different modules like RFE (Duplexer and Diversity), High Power Amplifiers, Transceivers, Channel Processing modules, Channel Control module, Site Alarm module, Radio Frequency Interface module, Power module and GPS
Installation of ZXDU-300 and ZXDU-90 rectifier and battery banks
Supervised on line fault diagnostic, troubleshooting and restoration of the system
Look after the radio resource configuration, physical configuration, E1 link with BSS, PCM link with MSC and security management
I also look after the service observations, performance statistics, failures observations and user data base management

Main Responsibilities in Maintenance Dept.

Performed computer maintenance for all kinds of communication equipment

Maintenance and in-house repairing of pay telephone system (Coin Phone)

Performed In-house repairing of AT&T model (Partner II\], Panasonic Systems, Fax, Telephones and Modem

which includes installation and commissioning of the system

Main Responsibilities in Service Dept.

Preventive maintenance that comprised of regular maintenance services for supplied systems to clients

Maintenance and repair of Exchange consists of:
CPU Card (8080 microprocessor based)
Voice Massaging System (2105 ADSP)
DTI Card (Digital Trunk Interface)
Subscriber Card (5504 Slic based)
Duplicate of switch
Tone Card
Switch Card
Alarm Panel (8751 microprocessor based system panel was connected to the exchange on RS-232 link)
Tester for line testing
-48 volts, 15 Ampere Power Supply
Switching DC/AC converter (TL 494 based)
EPROM programming according to the client's requirement

Telex System
Computerization of telex system, which includes installation and wiring for telex system
Preparation of software programming
Operational training of telex operators
Supervision of maintenance on component level and repairing of systems accessories that comprises of pc AT,
telex interface card, printer, battery backup and power supplies

Major Achievements:

Installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance of DCX-1000 PCM based exchange
Installation and commissioning of TELEX systems
Maintenance of PABX DCX-50 with separate processor based systems including facilities programming,
configuration programming & future programming on floppy. Conducting operations training for operators and supervised maintenance of AT computer, printers, disk drives, hard disk, trunk card, subscriber interface card and uninterrupted power supply (UPS)
Maintenance of DCX-8 and DCX-24 EPABX based on Z-80 processor
