Project Manager at THE KING ABDULLAH II DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT BUREAU (KADDB) JORDANIAN ARMED FORCES (JAF)

Key Responsibilities:
Reported to the Vice president of KADDB as part of ateam that established the Scientific Research Unit were I lead the Vocational Training Facility project, in cooperation with City and Guilds of the U.K. On the success of the project I was assigned to develop the Strategic Studies Department were I managed a team of 6 members in evaluating opportunities and synergies of potential partnerships and acquisition of enabling technologies for KADDB. Simultaneously, I worked as a Business Engagement Manger (BEM) responsible for ensuring a value based partnership and highly productive results between IT and internal clients specifically in improving physical security (CCTV and access scanners) and hardware encryption systems.

Following establishment of new businesses and projects, I was assigned as a system engineer / project manager team forupgrading the (Al Hussein hybrid tank) Challenger1 tank with a new Integrated Fire Control System (IFCS) and survivability capability; where I coordinated between various local and international companies that are involved in the IFCS including Raytheon and FLIR. A key component of our of the project was to upgrade the challenger primary weapon from 105mm riffled cannon with RUAG 120 mm smooth bore gun. Part of the KPI’s was to evaluate and compile white papers proposals from international suppliers and present them as complete project proposals to the JAF.

• First Lieutenant in Jordan Armed Forces, assignedto his Majesty King Abdullah Private Office/ Special Projects
• Founding member of the Scientific Research Unit (RSU) and the Strategic Studies Department (SSD)
• Business Engagement Manger assigned to two main projects, improving security equipment in the new Jordanian Armed Forces HQ and connectivity between all its military basis
• Part of the team that managed a $50M “Al Hussein hybrid tank” Project upgrade ofChallenger 1 tank with a new Integrated Fire Control System (IFCS) and survivability capability
• Lead the team that established a secure communication network using software and hardware encryption
