- Sales Engineer (in United Arab Emirates)
Full time employee as a Sales Engineer with Aggreko M.E. Handling the Abu Dhabi market and promoting Aggreko services to the market sectors in construction, contracting, events, oil & gas, services, facility management, and food & beverage.
The services are renting of temporary diesel generator sets (Cummins Engines) and their accessories (fuel tanks, HV transformers, load banks, Distribution Box and cables) and renting of temporary temperature control units (Chillers, Air Handlers, A/C package units). My job requirements are as follow:
• Cold Call meetings with customers for promoting Aggreko services. Targeting the Project Managers at site, procurement and purchasing departments at their offices, Plant Managers in manufacturing facilities, and meeting with decision makers.
• Establishing a good relation between the customer and myself.
• Receive customer enquiries, study the best solution for the customer request, visiting the sites for technical knowledge, preparing the quotation as per the data reached too, negotiating prices and closing deals.
• Updating the customer relation software on daily basis, and preparing target sales planes on weekly basis.
• Meeting the quarterly target rates sets.
• Close relation and periodic follow up with the customer.
• Working according to company rules, and following the HS&E standards.
• Follow up on customer invoices and payment.
• Reporting to the Area General Manager and to the Area Manager.
- Senior Sales Engineer (in Saudi Arabia)
Full time employee as a Senior Sales Engineer with Cummins Olayan Energy \{a JV between Cummins and GCC Olayan (Power Rent division)\}. I am responsible for more than 45 diesel generator sets ranging from 60KW up to 1MW in the Eastern Area. My job requirements are as follow:
• Conducting market surveys and meeting with customers for marketing purposes.
• Study the market, attract potential customer, and study the competitor’s strength, weakness and prices.
• Receiving Customer requests, going to site visit, attending job explanation meetings, providing consultancy to the customers to decide the needed generator capacity for their power requirements and preparing quotations to the customers WRT the data and results reached too.
• Negotiating and closing rental sales deals. Prepare and sign the contracts with customers. Arranging and filing the contracts for each customer.
• Working on arranging the units to be sent to the customer’s site project.
• Implement company strategies.
• Follow up with my staff and technicians on the installation and commissioning process for the generators and to accomplish the required in a fast, accurate and professional way.
• Close relation and day to day coordination with our customers.
• Ensure service, maintenance and repair jobs are being done according to the manual and on time, for our generators to be always in a perfect working condition as well as to gain the customer satisfaction.
• Monitoring all weekly and monthly reports to be checked and recorded properly as per Managements needs.
• Follow up for the customer invoices and payments.
• Directly reporting back and submitting Rental Sales reports to the Projects and Operation Manager, and to the GM
- Site Manager (in Saudi Arabia)
Full time employee as a Site Manager in Cummins Olayan Energy \{a JV between Cummins and GCC Olayan (Power Rent division)\}, responsible for 76MW isolated sites in the Eastern Area. (The generators were in automatic operation using SCADA). My job requirements are as follow:
• Directing my staff to accomplish the work in a fast and professional way.
• Implement company strategies as defined by the Project Manager.
• Following up with Eng. and Supervisors on the installation and commissioning process for the generators, switchgears and transformer.
• Close relation and day to day coordination with our customers (Site Managers).
• Full management of the site (health and safety, requests, reports, employee vacations, etc…).
• Deliver power; manage site, parts inventory and operating expenses within the allocated budget for the site.
• Ensure maintenance and repair jobs are done in accordance with the plan agreed with the Project Manager.
• Monitoring all daily, weekly and monthly reports to be checked and recorded properly as per Managements needs.
• Directly reporting back to Projects and Operation Manager.
- Site Manager (in Saudi Arabia)
Full time employee in GCC OLAYAN (Power Rent division), promoted for a site manager position, responsible for a 40 MW power station with automatic operation using SCADA system. My job requirements are:
• Directing my staff of 20 employees to accomplish the work.
• Supervise technicians and engineers during installing and commissioning new gensets, transformers and switchgears.
• Close relation and day to day coordination with SCECO Site Manager.
• Full management of the site (health and safety, requests, reports, etc…).
• Deliver power; manage site, parts inventory and operating expenses within the allocated budget for the site.
• Ensure maintenance and repair jobs are done in accordance with the plan agreed with the Project Manager.
• Monitoring all daily, weekly and monthly reports to be checked and recorded properly as per Managements needs.
• Directly reporting back to the Projects and Operation Manager.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance Engineer (in Saudi Arabia)
Full time employee in GCC OLAYAN (Power Rent division), my main work was to serve as a Technical adviser in charge in the site for the mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance team. Set and apply schedules, plans and layouts for the site operation.
The generators are Cummins and the Switchgears and transformers were ABB made 13.8KV.
My job requirements are:
• In charge on all technical issues in site.
• In charge of setting the maintenance and repair programs.
• Check and analyze data records concerning technical issues coming from the generators and other equipments.
• Control site needs, spare parts, local purchases, and corrective repairs done.
• In charge of setting technical training for site personnel’s.
- Electronic board, Assembly and troubleshooting (in Lebanon)
As a part time job in ASD (Automation systems and diagnostics), I was responsible for drawing electronic circuits using OrCad or Protel, design the layout, produce the PCB, assemble the electronic components on the board, then do testing and troubleshooting for the assembled boards.
Other Job related experiences were: PC’s maintenance (Hardware and software), PC formatting, and VB6 programming language.
The courses that were taken are: Networking, VB6 programming langauge, Signal analysis and processing, antennas, Math, Electronics, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers (Motorola and PIC series),
