1. 4. Responsible for provision of contractual support/ advice to respective controlling teams, ensuring necessary quality management, expediting the cost & engineering requirements pertinent to management of the contract to meet contractual obligations & minimization of client risks to acceptable outcomes.

5. Preparation of clarification memos in response to tender review comments from KOCPC/KPC HPC/ Main Contracts teams.

6. Attending pre-bid meetings including preparation of responses to bidders’ queries for issuance of Supplementary letters by the Main Contracts team including incorporation of any changes to the contract, which may be necessary as a result of the pre-bid meeting.

7. Techno-commercial evaluation of various tenders including recommendation for award. Coordination with Controlling teams for technical evaluation.

8. Review & processing of Adjustment order requests from all controlling teams within CITG, for additional/ change in scope, resources, time extension etc. including assessment of cost/ time implications for the additional changes, negotiations with contractors to arrive at discounted rates for new and existing services/ items.

9. Review of contract & quality documents and providing updates on Contractor’s performance including preparation of reports.

10. Assisting Business Systems Leader in development of policies and procedures for streamlining & improving contract management processes within CITG.

11. Training team members including assigning new CRs (Contract Requisitions) & RRAOs (Requests for Raising Adjustment Order) and follow-up of the same.

• Drafting Particular Conditions of Contract as applicable to a specific tender with specific reference to amendments required in General Conditions of Contract.
• Preparation of Technical Conditions & Particular Specifications based on Master Spec. 2006 as per project requirements including compilation of Tender/ Final design drawings in close coordination with Architectural, Civil Electrical & Mechanical Engineering depts.

2. Cost analysis, preparation of early stage budget and detailed engineering estimates as design progresses, internal coordination with Designers and Project Managers to ensure implementation of cost -effective designs and submission of working drawings in accordance with PACE quality standards.

3. Attending Pre-Tender Meetings, preparing clarification / supplementary letters to bidders’ queries, undertaking site visits with the bidders.

4. Pre-Qualification of Contractors based on technical capabilities and financial strength and submitting recommendation for inclusion in the Approved Contractors’ List for desired category of Works.
