•Achieve DOS (Days Of Outstanding).

•Making productive calls daily and attending to incoming calls
•Credit check and Credit opening for the new accounts.
•Generate the collection follow up list and setting priorities bases on aging bucket analysis.
•Allocating & Tallying collection receipts in debtor’s account and updating in to accounting system.
•Follow-up and ensure recovery of payments on expiry of the credit days, else to put the account on hold till full overdue amount is not settled.
•Ensuring that the major debtor’s balances are getting reconciled and confirmed periodically and the differences if any are attended to and resolved.
•Providing statement of accounts to all sales executives for payment follow up and Age analysis to the division heads and holding meeting with them to discuss about the receivable status.
•In absence of Collections Supervisor responsible for preparing, issuing and acting on key reports on a daily bases.
•Offer support, training & guidance to new members of the Collections Team.
•In absence of the supervisor, perform customer registration process: new customer activation, credit check, permanent credit request for both new and existing customers, account deactivation.
•Daily review of customer outstanding.
•Recovery of outstanding amounts to ensure customers remain within credit limits thereby avoiding financial exposure.
•Answer customer’s queries regarding statements in an efficient and professional manner to ensure customer accounts are accurate.
•Monitor debtors ageing to ensure company credit terms are observed.
•Advise Collections Supervisor immediately in case of possible bad debts /customer cash flow issues / collection difficulties.
•Ensure receivable transactions are accurately and timely updated in the customer accounts.
•Allocate payment as per the agent’s remittance advice.
•Send reminders to agents once they reach 70% of their credit limit.
•Assist Sales with TCL requests.
•Map bookings in given circumstances.
•Advise agents on the different payment methods and policies.
•Coordinate with Operations team regarding agents booking issues and concerns.
•Coordinate with the Refunds team regarding agent refund enquiries.
•Coordinate regularly with Sales regarding agent payment difficulties and disputes.
•Assist banking team in efficiently securing renewed bank guarantees from the agents.
•Take overall responsibility for maintaining debtors database
•Set periodic collection targets and develop relevant collection skills for self and within others in team
•Regularly communicate with debtors by letter, phone or in person to ensure timely collection
•Identify and escalate to the senior management, information on debtors with potential default
•Liaise with the operational team on solving all payment related queries and disputes by customers
•Handled the responsibility of reviewing and analyzing GL accounts for interim and year-end closings
•Reviewing and reconciling trade debtor’s accounts on a daily basis and ensuring that the outstanding money is recovered with the stipulated credit terms.
•Ensuring that all the receivable transactions are accurately updated & reported in the customer ledger accounts.
•Timely and promptly reverting to the customers on the clarification sort by them and ensuring that disputed transaction resolved on a monthly basis.
•Liaison with the AR Supervisor and Sales Department of DOTW on a regular basis to inform them about critical customers who are not maintaining their allocated credit limits or delaying the payment on a regular basis.
•To assume responsibility for the day to day review of customer outstanding.
•To take timely action to recover outstanding monies and to ensure that the customers are within the allocated credit limit and the company does not have any financial exposure.
•To minimize the daily sales outstanding of customer’s accounts.
•To handle customer’s queries regarding their outstanding statements in an efficient and professional manner ensuring customer accounts reflects true debt.
•To liaise regularly with the AR Supervisor and Sales Team in maintaining debt levels.
