Responsible for planning, design, building, testing, FAT and commissioning of substation automation systems. Scope of projects covered system design (SLD), cubicles design, equipment specification (ABB, Siemens, Schneider and more), coordinating with suppliers for JIT delivery, manufacturing supervision, SCADA development, integrated testing (including primary equipment, GIS and TMS), FAT, shipping to site and commissioning. Successfully delivered projects in Algeria, Iraq (Hilla, Karbala, Erbil, West Qurna), Qatar (Rayyan Village, Ras Abu Fontas, Umm al Oshush, JBOG), Ivory Coast, Italy, Oman (Madinat Barkha, Al Khadra), Kuwait (Al Shadadyia), ranging from 132kV to 6.6kV. Worked closely with suppliers, team, management and clients and reached a 95% satisfaction rating. Negotiated claims and scope changes. Improved profit by an average 15%. Managed budgets of over 1.5M USD.
• Rayyan Village and GGM-Ezdan projects - 12 substations, from 400kV to 11kV
• Supervised progress of testing and commissioning of Scada (computers, switches, Scada 9.4.x, SACO, REGSys, Tapcon, COM500, Meinberg GPS etc.) and bay-level equipment (ABB control and protection relays - REx670, REF615, REB500, meters etc.)
