Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will work on a variety of projects, from building cabinets and furniture to constructing frameworks for buildings.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed for the project.
2. Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping.
3. Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials.
4. Operate hand and power tools such as saws, chisels, drills, and sanders.
5. Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
6. Follow safety protocols and ensure that all work is done in compliance with building codes and regulations.
7. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
8. Collaborate with other team members, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects.
9. Provide estimates for materials and labor costs for projects.
10. Ensure that projects are completed within the agreed-upon timeframes and budget.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter.
2. Has experience in Stands, Displays, Exhibition.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
4. Strong knowledge of different types of wood and their properties.
5. Excellent carpentry skills and ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
6. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
7. Good physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and tools.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Effective time management and organizational skills.
10. Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
11. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
