MRI TECHNOLOGIST:
Performs All MRI Routine and Advance Examinations and Techniques
Conduct procedures and tests using Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment.
Under the supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, performs a variety of MRI procedures and departmental support functions. Utilizes departmental policies and procedures in meeting patient needs, adheres to proper quality utilization and risk management policies and practices. Performs imaging procedures for patients of both genders and all ages.
Performs All MRI Routine and Advance Examinations and Techniques

Performs All C.T Routine and Advance Examinations and Techniques
Utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues.
Able to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions,
Administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment
Position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
Performs special procedures such as:
Barium enema, Upper G.I. Series, Intravenous Pyelography,
Distal Colonogram, T-Tube Cholangiography, Intra Operative
Cholangiography, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiography
and Pancreatograhy, Esophagography and other radiographic
and diagnostic procedures.
Routine Examinations performs such as:
Skull Series, Upper and Lower Extremities, Paranasal Sinuses,
Chest PA and Lateral, Pelvis, Cervical Spine, Thoraco-lumbar
Spine and Sacrum and Coccyx Spine and other radiographic
Routine examinations.
General Radiography and fluoroscopy Darkroom Technologist.
Day and Night Shift, 8 hrs/ day, 48 hrs/ week.
Applying ionizing radiation to demonstrate portion of the patient’s body on a radiograph, fluoroscopic screen and other imaging modalities.
Assists the physician in the diagnostic of diseases and injury.
Check schedule and transport of patients.
Developing of films and mixing solutions.
Help supervise the diagnostic intern technologist.
Check and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
Coordinate with Chief Technologist regarding stock level of supplies.
Prepare and position patient for radiographic procedures prescribed by radiologist/ Attending Physician.
Does clerical work and other duties assigned by Chief Technologist
Philippine Professional Regulation Commision Board Of Radiologic Technologist N National Board Exam No. 14
