Coach and train the Events team in all aspects of the department' while Continually strive to develop your team in all areas of their professional development
•Assign events to Event Planners and admins
•Supervise and undertake performance reviews of events staff and make recommendations as to hiring and terminations
•Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
•Proactively review staffing, collateral, advertising, communications and equipment needs
•Understand completely all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs
•Conduct regularly scheduled departmental event review team meetings and individual Event Planner meetings
•Conduct site inspections and vendor interviews for each event
•Coordinate and follow up with other departments to ensure the delivery of superior guest and meeting services
