AV & Show Systems
As part of a great team of engineers and designers we successfully delivered and opened the world’s largest indoor climate-controlled theme park. My pre-opening role within IMG worlds of Adventure was to manage the design & build of show systems and construction on L&E (Leisure and Entertainment) Projects. I provide an oversight and mitigate with vendors all pre and post build issues of show and sub systems design, procurement and construction for all L&E projects. Work with the Design Teams to ensure technical design adequacy, efficiency and constructability. Work with Procurement group to analyse tenders, technical and commercial proposals. Review recommendations submitted by the PMC service providers. Conduct job-site inspections with an eye on material and workmanship quality details. Manage the notifications to the Contractor for managing show quality, such as NCR's. Attend progress meetings with consultants and contractors as needed.
Responsible for pre and post-handover strategies for all attraction, show and intellectual property related elements for the Theme Park along with ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly PMs are fulfilled in line with EN13814 and local required standards. Attraction uptime is also my responsibility which is handled through the team I manage along with remote support through various local and international vendors when needed. Department annual budget is developed and maintained through strategic planning and programs. Energy conservation is maintained and mitigated through implementation of modern-day control systems, strategies and hardware selection.

Dubai Parks and Resorts
Project manager for Motiongate theme park where I managed the designers, consultants and contractors towards delivering a complete integrated AVC/IT solution for the resort and its attractions and dark rides whilst representing the client to ensure the integrity of the design is maintained and realised. Build coordination with local and international vendors was also my remit along planning and implementing a commissioning strategy.

As Technical Director for Farah Leisure Parks Management I was responsible for directing the technical departments across multiple facilities. These Facilities’ include but are not limited to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Water world and Yas O1NE Entertainment venue. I was directly involved with Ferrari world and Yas water world phase 2 expansion projects by way of representing Farah leisure and ensuring that all corporate requirements are communicated to ride vendors and suppliers with a view that all new attractions can be integrated into our parks core back bone.
Managing a team of engineers, managers and programmers allows me to not only maintain uptime across the business units, but to also plan and engage in the park’s corporate events.
I was charged with managing multiple complex projects and ensuring the Projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high-quality standard. Part of my role was to manage relationships with the client and
Burj Khalifa
Project Manager for the Burj Khalifa, managing a team of 200+ on-site staff and 40 office staff. Responsible for managing all site-based activities associated with the 1st and 2nd fix, to installation, commissioning and programming of the AMX control system for the project. Ensure that third party systems are integrated with AMX system i.e HVAC and lighting etc.
•Systems and equipment installed: Christie Digital projectors, Samsung LCDs, AMX control system, imerge, London soundweb DSP’s, Extron, HITV, IPTV.
•Conduct pre-install meetings with all the relevant parties.
•Develop and maintain a program of works for the installation team and obtain extra Labour / Technicians and Programmers on-site as required. I provide the full schedule for implementation and serves as the main point of contact throughout.
•To provide a proactive approach to ensure all materials and consumables are prepared and available to the team in advance.
To oversee/head-up teams and performs hands-on installation along with my team to install High-end Audio Visual equipment into luxury super yachts on a new build or re-fit project. Responsible to ensure tasks are carried out in an efficient manner and that technical solutions/products are delivered to the highest standards and completed on time.

Choice electrical installations was established from a passion for high-end audio-visual systems offering services as electrical and audio visual installer. Security, lighting control and CCTV system installation also formed part of the business along with full or part re-wires to multi-room audio visual systems.
Grade 1 - Control
After Attending C & N Control Systems during a work experience course via High School, I was asked to do additional work during Easter Holidays and Summer Holidays. At the time of leaving High School a full Apprenticeship was offered within this company. The Apprenticeship was undertaken and completed based around custom-built switch gear (LV & HV), motor control centres, industrial heating and ventilation.
