JetPac is an electronic trading platform for Bonds, Bond Futures and Bond Future Options. It enables real-time pricing of the instruments, price publication, trade capture, as well as position keeping, real time Trading P&L and Risk Management.
JetWeb is a real-time price distribution and trade execution application available via the Intranet. It is mainly used by Sales to enable them to quote prices to clients and enter/amend trades.
I was joined as Support Analyst and with in a year based on performance in the team, client appraised and promoted as Team leader of team consisting of 9 members providing global support to FIRC (Fixed Income Rates & Currencies) Operations which supports the trading, settlement system for FIRC businesses. The primary responsibility is to provide application support, project management and IT consultancy to the FIRC Operations team in Singapore and Hong Kong. Apart from supporting the traders, we also support overnight production batches which send system critical information to the downstream systems in the bank. Also develop database objects for report writing using Shell scripts and PERL scripts for Operations, BUC and front office. This is the customized product of GBS. Yachiyo bank is the first bank to implement BW21. In the past, the mission-critical systems (accounting systems) required as banking systems have as a rule been constructed with mainframes at their center.

BankingWeb21 delivers unique management and distinctive strategies with individuality by maintaining own core banking system at individual financial institutions. It provides multiple distribution servers processing environment and installation of core banking system such as 24 hours banking including debit card and Internet banking can be achieved.

The new system at The Yachiyo Bank is adopted full level of BankingWeb21 including core banking system for saving, loan, and exchange services and connection system for connecting the system outside. This is a mission critical system. Since various programs are operated in distributed process by specific purpose under several servers and all programs are configured as parts. The system provides excellent system flexibility at expansion with high reliability.

Customization of Retail Banking package implemented at Yachiyo Bank, Tokyo. Consists of several servers currently involved in Liquid Server and common components development, design done using Rational Rose, development on HP-Unix with C++; middle layer with BEA Tuxedo, Diosa; build on Unix; white box testing done using client simulator under Unix and Oracle 8i as RDBMS. Configuration management tools Clear case and CQ, Actively involved in design, development, build and Transaction Flow testing for Component Automation, Business Rule, and Transactions related to Banking Domain.
