One of 3 team members responsible for managing 5 MBC channels. Representing brand management in a 'cluster' of channels responsible for all on air brand operations.
• Managing all on air promotional, creative and marketing activities of MBC 2, MBC MAX and MBC Variety, Shahid, MBC Bollywood and New Media.
• Oversee the design of effective visual branding and the execution of appropriate brand messaging. This includes creating/improving the look and feel of the channels.
• Supervise a team of 15 creative and design professionals.
• Assist with branding and positioning, awareness, events, interactive and related marketing activities.
• Elevate the level of creative work on a consistent basis. Facilitate the further development and training of the current team.
• Elicit an outstanding performance from the team, through clear direction and an appropriate level of support.
• Oversee the management of the assignments/workloads of the creative department to ensure on-time delivery.
• Often present creative concepts, walk through mock-ups or participate in planning sessions with channel programmers, planners and marketing team.
• Develop the creative promotions skills of the entire department.
• Ensure that the team is expert at developing promotions from concept, as well as working efficiently on more high profile projects, understands the demographics of the audience and their needs, and can adapt the appropriate look or brand elements.
• Exhibit and require of the team, critical thinking and active problem-solving.
• Initiate and stimulate creative ideas for and from everyone involved in the creative process
Responsible for creating, maintaining and developing the on-air look, channel branding, positioning, presentation and creative output across 7 diverse bouquet channels. Manage a group of 16 promotions producers and designers to maintain an effective, cohesive and superior service to subscribers and clients including commercial advertising, sales & marketing.
Responsible for the networks Arabic promotional output, supervising, designing and executing promotional campaigns for the channels primary programs and its corporate image commercials; advisor on issues concerning target audience reach & market appeal.
Supervised the Arab movie channels promotional department: conceptualising, developing and co-ordinating the channels look and promotional campaigns.
Produced and executed cross-channel generic and specific promotional spots for programs of diverse categories.
Involved in the development of various television programs from original concepts to final productions. Produced and Directed studio based shows / and ENG type documentaries.
B.A. Radio and Television production part of the Columbian College for Arts and Sciences (Communication Studies) : Acted as producer, director, technical assistant, associate director, lighting director, audio technician, cameraman, and floor manager, in various cultural and news related programs.
