File and follow up on shipments (FCL and LCL) from place of receipt to port of discharge Work with a freight forwarder/agent who is based in the country where goods are being delivered / produced

Work closely with carriers to ensure space availability and smooth loading of shipments

Plan the most appropriate route /carrier for a shipment with respect to freight cost, transit time, weight and type of cargo

Prepare all breakdowns before vessel arrival and ensure to the delivery of the D/O to clients on time

Handle customer inquiries regarding shipments’ date of arrival, D/O process and invoices

Check bill of ladings (Master BL against House BL) to make sure both match with respect to Lebanese customs regulations

Process standard teller transactions for customers including servicing client accounts, accepting loan payments, cashing checks, balancing cash drawers, correcting discrepancies.

Respond to customer account inquiries

Perform end of day recap of money and bank slips
