Supervise all phases of all type of banquet functions, Coordinate activity on a daily basis. Oversees banquet event and ensure that all service standards, departmental policies are followed by banquet staffs. Act as a single point of contact with the banquet host during the banquet function.
• Manages the daily operation of the restaurants including cleanliness, organization, revenue opportunities and staffing.
• Resolves guest’s complaints and concerns and report to the restaurant owner/manager.
• Controls inventories of food, equipments, utensils and glasswares, ensures its completeness and cleanliness.
• Trains staffs in food preparation, service, sanitations and safety procedures and evaluate performance and working procedures to ensure quality standards.
• Handles and monitors training and development as well as appraisal and recommendations.
• Assists in searching for suppliers and ordering of supplies.
• Prepares regular maintenance schedule and arrange schedule for repair.
• Conducts meetings and collaborate with other personnel for menu planning, serving arrangements and others promotional activities.
• Conducts researches and marketing to improve restaurants revenue.
• Generates report of Sales Figures and submits analysis report to the management.
• Oversees the operations and staff performances.
• Acts as liaison between kitchen staffs and servers.
• Faces guests for their complaints and concerns.
• Conducts Trainings for the staff.
• Ensures the readiness of the restaurants from opening ‘til closing.
• Generates reports to the Restaurant Manager and recommends ideas for development.
• Conducts performance appraisal evaluation of the staffs and recommends promotions.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the restaurant during operation.
• Ensures hostesses / door is manned at all times so that all customers receives a friendly and prompt welcome.
• Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for customers according to the Restaurant Reservations SOP.
• Actively uses the standards detailed in F&B Enquiry/Booking Checklist when taking Restaurant enquiries or bookings.
• Explains and assists guest in their concerns such as local information, dining room layout, table numbers, stations, and colleagues assigned and its assignments.
• Attends to orders and recommends menu and informs guests for any special offers.
• Answers telephone calls and attends guest concerns according to JI Standard script.
• Demonstrates a sound knowledge of all menu items, MJ F&B Service procedures and JI Hygiene Standards.
• Gives warm welcome to the guests and guide them to seats.
• Presents menus, takes and serves orders consistent to standards and informs customers of about special offer of the day.
• Answers questions about menu items and makes recommendation upon request.
• Serves food and/or beverages to patrons as required with courtesy in a timely manner.
• Checks with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their drinks and takes action to correct any problems.
