CBay is spread across 17 locations in India and I led teams across these locations for three major functions: IT Infrastructure Management, Procurement and IT Governance.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
IT Governance:
• Helped frame and implement the IT policies and provided key technical inputs to Compliance for Standards and Safeguards update
• Key player for implementing QMS for IT department like ISO 9001 and Six Sigma
• Eliminated non compliance for IT processes across all locations during third party security audits.
IT Procurement:
• Helped draw out the Annual IT Budget to meet the Business needs
• Worked with world class vendors like Dell, IBM, Cisco, etc. for procurement of IT Infrastructure on both CAPEX and OPEX based pricing
• Rationalized product pricing by 10%-15% year on year.
IT Infrastructure Management:
• Designed and Implemented IT infrastructure across locations by leveraging the latest technologies like Virtualization, UTM Devices, etc.
• Trained by Principles like Fortinet, VMware, IBM, and Cisco for Deploying and maintaining their products.
• Implemented multiple projects across all locations to further improve the IT infrastructure and get better RoI.
• Trained and mentored team members to pick up more responsibilities and deliver expected results.
Was responsible for the complete IT infrastructure of a 300 plus computer network. Coordinated with CBay Systems for production related issues. Trained and led a team of six IT support members.

Technical:
• Lead the IT team in managing the entire IT infrastructure
• Implemented technologies like Single Sign-on using Windows AD, Cisco PIX, Qmail etc.
• Coordinating with vendors for IT requirements.
Operational:
• Handled the complete distribution of daily work and coordinated with CBay for various production related issues like Quality, Routing, etc.
• Involved in enhancing the efficiency of production processes by creating macros to automate certain processes and reports.
• Planned and implemented night shift rotations for the team.
