EXPERIENCE IN THE MIDDLE EAST (DUBAI): -
(1) From 01/11/2000 to 13/01/2017 worked with Shaheen Tyres co LLC, Dubai as a Key Accounts Manager. The company represents SUMITOMO Brand Tyres & Tubes from Japan.
Shaheen tyres took over the agency of Sumitomo brand of Japanese Tyres & Tubes in November 2000. It was my duty to introduce the brand to all government departments, major dealers, transporters and end users. I have successfully planned my objectives, got our company name registered with all the major Government departments in Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates. Within a short period of time I had established Sumitomo brand tyres in the UAE market. After six months of marketing I had managed a target of 25% more than the target which company had requested to achieve. Still to date I am maintaining the target with an average growth of 5 to 7% per month.
Besides marketing our own products, as a marketing person it is my duty to collect all other competitors information such as price, availability, performance of their products, promotions, special offers, etc.
Apart from above a regular follow-up with customers and collecting information from the market such as new brands, models and their price comparisons, etc. A well planned and target oriented approach in developing new customers.
I used to forecast products demand for the next 2 to 3 months in advance for the purpose of advanced order confirmation.
The claim tyre inspection procedure includes a thorough inspection of the claim tyres, inspecting the date of the manufacture, production code, serial No., pattern reference, category, etc. The remaining thread depth of the claim tyre is to be measured carefully so as to calculate with reference to the original thread depth and settle the claim, if it falls under the category of the manufacturing defects.

(2) From 22/12/96 - 31/07/2000 I was working with M/s. Al Dobowi Group of companies based at their Jebel Ali Office as Senior Sales Executive for Tyres, Batteries, Tyre Retreading & Rubber Products.
After 15 days basic training from M/s. Al Dobowi Jebel Ali, I have been successfully marketing the concept of Truck tyres retreading with Worlds No. 1 retreading technology BANDAG. Especially implementing the Bandag Selling Process of lowest cost per kilometre. Implementing Fleet inspection, Out of service Tyre inspection, Conducting Tyre Maintenance Courses for Tyremen, etc. Tyre & Fleet analysis, Out of service Tyre Analysis, Lowest cost per kilometre tests etc are the "Bandag Selling Process".
Simultaneously I was promoting Hankook, Semperat, General & Ceat Brand of Tyres, Yuasa Hankook and Exide Brand of Batteries.
(3) 30/01/96 to 10/12/96 - Worked with a European owned and managed firm - dealing with Japan, American, European Cars and Trucks Spare Parts Division as Marketing Executive. This was a temporary assignment, I was responsible for promoting / canvassing orders for automobile spare parts in the UAE.
(4) 02/08/90 to 17/12/95 - With M/s. Al Rostamani Group of Companies, M/s.Arabian Automobiles Company (Agents of Nissan Cars, Trucks, Buses, etc), with their Automobile Spare Parts Dept, as Parts Sales Executive.
ASSIGNMENT: I was fully responsible for the counter sales, regular follow-up with dealers and their delivery schedules, attending their calls reply to their faxes / quoting prices, etc.
(5) 31/05/1982 to 04/05/1990 - I was working with M/s. EROS Group of Companies, Dubai, as Sales Executive (Showroom / Outdoor) for Electronics items & Home Appliance etc.
Products Dealt with - Hitachi Electronics & Home Appliances, Aiphone-Intercom Systems, Channel Master TV Antennas and Rotors, etc (Outdoor & Indoor Sales)
ASSIGNMENT - After completion of training and probation period of 3 months, I was responsible for assisting the main Showroom Personnel to arrange Local Deliveries to Dealers, checking the Stock requirement, Store Maintenance, Binning, Allocating proper locations of items, Attending the customers, etc.
In 1987 I have been promoted as Outdoor Sales Executive in Hitachi Electronics & Home Appliances. I was responsible for sales and sales promotions to dealers and and general customers.
In addition to above, I am familiar with each and every corner of the local market and having good relation with all the customers. Also having a good knowledge in general office duties including self-correspondence and familiar with computers.
