To implement the safety procedures of Hydro - Power Support Est. projects in co-ordination with client & Consultants, and subcontractors site management, for the implementation of company HSE policy, conducting safety meetings, inspection of plant & machinery, safety audit, advising management for the improvement of safety aspects within the company safety policy. Conducting periodic evacuation drills.
Undertaking risk assessments & identifying safe system of work.
Develop & deliver in house training courses on HSE topics.
Preparing weekly, monthly reports & accident statistics & analysis.
Fire drills conducted & inspection of fire extinguishers. PTW follow ups.
Collect IVMS reports on monthly basis & report to Client.
Conducting safety meetings with subcontractors.
Undertaking audit & inspection of subcontractors. Follow up audit & inspection.
Inspection of machinery, equipments & Company accommodations.
Develop & deliver basic safety induction to staff upon joining.
To monitor traffic & logistic activities. Driver’s safe driving assessment.
Conduct safe driving in-house training for all company drivers.
Collection of weekly report from sites & forward it to management with mitigation measures.
FOLLOW UP SUB-CONTRACTORS REGARDING:
Equipments 3rd party certificate. Daily, weekly & monthly inspection.
Tool box talks with proper record, safety induction & training.
Internal audit, inspection report & record.
Warning, violation & journey management procedure.
Accident, incident & near miss record, reporting.
Weekly traffic & logistic report.
Camps & accommodation safety issues.
Fire safety issues & emergency drills.
Ensure that subcontractors operate comply with the project safety policy.
Controlled the permit to work system & regular inspections on all site & record results.
Ensure that risk assessments have been carried out where necessary.
Ensure the use PPE for the job. Report unsafe act & conditions to the management.
Ensure the maintenance of a high standard of housekeeping at all times.
Making daily reports regarding unsafe procedures in the job site, and preventive steps to avoid recurrence.
Attending toolbox meeting of subcontractor to assure that they are discussing safety procedures.
Inspection of scaffolds, Ladders trenches and excavation to assure safety execution
Assist Safety Manager to organize weekly site inspection tour and safety meeting.
Conduct in house training for project drivers regarding defensive driving.
Helping management in making Safety Policy for the Company.
Making sure safety policy is followed in working premises of organization.
Making sure Safe working procedure is made and followed for all jobs.
Making sure management and working force is safety aware and trained.
Arranging safety meetings, tool box talks, issuing safety notices etc.
Helping management in making official safety documentation and correspondence.
Helping in making evacuation plan and observing evacuation drills.
Making sure working premises are fire safe, and assure the provision of fire safety equipment's.
Helping in making traffic plan for working premises.
Issuance and observing work permits.
Making sure good housekeeping on site.
Making sure site have proper safety signs.
Making sure provision of welfare facilities of workers.
Make sure store material is safety arranged and keeping MSDS for all chemicals on site.
Checking all power tools through electrician and keeping record.
Making sure all work on SITE or Factory is as per safety standards.
Make monthly Inspection of moving equipment’s and fire extinguisher, ladder etc.
Inspection of necessary work permit whenever to begin the job.
Put necessary safety precaution before starting any job.
Preparing reports for accident / near miss incident. Risk assessments for working at height.
