Experience in KPMG within Risk Consulting department under Accounting Advisory
Services (AAS) function comprise of providing financial and management services, (AAS)
function; work with our firms' clients to help them achieve compliance, advising on how
they might organize their financial reporting processes and helping ensure that
accounting operations match the objectives of the business. I've been involved in several
projects since I’ve joined KPMG, providing different services such as financial analysis,
updating policies & procedures, compliance and IFRS conversion. KPMG enhanced and
improved organizations performance of very well-known clients in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia, in both government and private sectors. The organizational activities in KPMG
comprise of following roles and responsibilities:
• Currently in charge of a project, Where KPMG provides financial statements analysis for a wide range of
companies using international methods & ratios for the financial analysis.
• Prepare engagements proposal which normally includes the following section:
‣ Designed Proposal cover page.
‣ Index.
‣ Our understanding of client’s needs.
‣ Scope of work.
‣ Suggested work methodology.

• Participate in preparing engagement’s plan and budget.

Experience in Crowe Horwath Int. comprise of assisting and providing audit and assurance
services to several clients, comprising of Trade, Service and Manufacturing oriented
companies, with legal statute of companies being Saudi Joint Stock and Limited Liability
Companies. The organizational activities in Crowe Horwath Int. comprise of following roles
and responsibilities:
• Assist team in audits, reviews and other engagements and being the job in charge for
several clients.
• Distribute the work among my team according to audit planning sheets.
• Control and substantive testing through an audit engagement.
• Assist client with the preparation and presentation of financial statements including
significant financial statement disclosures, in the light of the relevant reporting
framework and ensuring compliance with all applicable reporting requirements.
• Quarterly analysis and preparation of un-audited financial statements for Saudi Joint
Stock Companies.

• Application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) where ever required.
• Identifying the management letter points during the course of engagement.
• Use of ‘Caseware Working Papers’ and other audit software.
• Participated with bookkeeping division for a couple of bookkeeping services using
‘Peachtree’ software.
• Prepare and review Tax forms for our clients, also being one of the employees in the firm
who have the authority to approve the Tax forms before submit it to DZIT.
• Travelled to various locations for assurance engagements throughout my association
with Crowe Horwath Int.
