• Issue all calculation for AHUs, FCUs, Exhaust fans & Chilled/Hot water pipes.
• Calculation of duct sizing, Back pressure calculations of Generators, static pressure for AHUs, FCUs & fans, Thermal Expansion & Contraction Calculation for Pipes, head for pumps, chiller selections in (Engineers Syndicate).
• Sound Calculations of AHUs & SOUND ATTENATORS selection.
• Mechanical Room shop drawing.
• Issue riser diagram for chilled water circuit, hot water circuit & condensing water circuit.
• Review the “issued for construction” drawings and other documents.
• Review changes between tender and construction documents.
• Attend all technical meetings, (internal meetings, meetings with main contractor or with consultant)
• General review with the senior design engineers at other disciplines, all MEP layouts in order to highlight any problem that might occur.
• Prepare the request for information (RFI)
• Review with the design engineer all shop drawing prepared.
• Check material take off prepared by the design engineer and issue inquiry to procurement dep.
• Follow up on the material submittal approval with the consultant and main contractor and resubmit if required.
• Issue the site requisition of the approved material once the material take off is made based on approved shop drawing.
