As Senior Engineer (Bridges) (August2012 - present), my responsibilities at the JAFZA Gate 4 Development Project are as follows:
1. Site Execution for Bridge related activities like Piling, Pile Caps, Piers, Box Girder including Deck Slab, Prestressing works, RE Wall works, Bitumen works, Protective coatings etc.
2. Also handling the Execution of Canopy structure for Gate House including raft foundations, steel structure, block work and glass works.
3. Preparation of shop drawings for bridge works and canopy structure works.
4. Checking for bar bending schedules, preparation of concrete pouring sequences and shop drawings etc.
5. Raising requests for inspection and approval to the client (AECOM) on daily basis for related structure work.
6. Daily Site safety meetings and giving tool box talks as work area is having live traffic.
As Senior Engineer (November 2011 - August 2012), my responsibilities at the Al Furjan Housing Project were as follows:
1. Execution of all the structure related activities in structures like Fire Irrigation Pumping Station, Sewage Pumping Station, 11KV substations and pocket substations etc.
2. Also handling the cost control for all the infrastructure services in the project like Irrigation network, fire fighting network, 11 kv ducts, LV ducts, SL ducts, Potable water etc.
3. Preparation of productivity reports for all the networks for weekly monitoring of cost v/s production.
4. Checking for bar bending schedules, preparation of concrete pouring sequences and shop drawings etc.
5. First hand experience in finishing 60, 000 sqm of hard landscaping tiling works.
6. Raising requests for inspection and approval to the client on daily basis for related structure work.
7. Monitoring and recording of labor and plant charges on daily basis for all infrastructure services and structures at the project.
1. Planning and monitoring of day to day ongoing activities at site.
2. Preparations of site programs as per required timelines and giving targets to my subordinates for timely and quality wise completion of related activities.
3. Quantity surveys and monthly requirements of materials at site.
4. Preparation of working drawings as per site conditions using typical drawings provided by the client using Autocad.
5. Dealing with the client (Pb. PWD B&R) and corresponding with them to satisfy their requirements on daily basis.
6. Preparation/checking of bar bending schedules as per approved drawings.
7. Monitoring of casting and Pre-stressing operations of PSC girders at site
8. Checking of formwork, scaffolding, steel binding etc.
9. Preparing project estimates and technical bids for upcoming projects.
