The 3D Manager creates, defines, and sets forth actions to achieve the vision and goals of the 3D Printing/3D Scanning technology at TPH Branch 300 and 302 located in the Toronto, ON. The Manager is responsible for providing approval, inspection and expertise in Fused Deposing Modelling, Binder Jetting, and Multi Jet 3D Printing. This Position takes the lead to sustain and increase 3D growth while working with Business Development Team and other branch Managers from our 70+ location across Canada. The Position is also responsible for managing the branch, staff and resources. As a Manager, this position is bond to use and oversee the use of Company assets and control the operation of a new channel of business.
Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, CRM, and advertising for potential AM Clients.
Redesign/ Re-Engineer Parts for Additive Manufacturing.
Work Closely with Local Society of Manufacturing Engineers and manage industry partner's production files.
Design and fabricate test samples using Additive manufacturing process (FDM, Binder Jetting, PolyJet Multi-Jetting, and Wax).
Graduates of this unique hybrid program have a skill set that's in high demand: the ability to design products, processes and systems and to communicate sophisticated mechanical engineering concepts and ideas through drawings, computer images and symbols. Students in the Mechanical Engineering Design and Drafting diploma program learn engineering design, additive manufacturing, facilities layout, CNC machining, jig and fixture design, mold design, F.E.A sustainable design and many other areas of mechanical engineering design.
