As a shop Engineer working on several contracts all around Saudi, Qatar & UAE which includes Spheres, Water Spheroids, Mud Washers, Double wall, Floating Roof tanks and several other designs for oil & gas and Mining projects, including Heavy Structures and all types of internal and external Piping.
* Organize and supervise all the Fabrication activities in different areas of the shop.
* Planning & scheduling adequate workflow in the shop floor as per the capacity.
* Managing weekly and monthly progress reports with production control.
* Ensure all the activities are completed as per schedule and complete the work prior to deadline to meet client’s/site requirements.
* Update and distribute all the control drawings and fabrication documents in all the departments.
* Collaborate between shop, client and design departments for all the design discrepancies and modifications.
* Inspections and approvals for all the layouts and fit-ups for heavy and complex assemblies, spheres and shell nozzles.
* Provide calculations and sketches for cones, complex assembly parts, sphere layouts and dishing/pressing.
* Provide detail drawings and nesting for the CNC burning machine on AutoCAD.
