Responsible for liaison with Global and Cluster Category buyers & suppliers, write out dispensation & managing of local & export orders, price negotiations & revisions. Responsible for implementation of Cost Effective Plans with a view to reduce material cost & development of alternate sources & materials to reduce dependency on single source & Bulk buying and seasonal buying (Strategic Sourcing), improve supply position & drive the cost of supply chain. Responsible for reporting of quarterly Savings of raw materials buying, providing solutions to quality related issues & working on Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Share comment with National Raw Material Procurement Manager & Global and Cluster Buyer regarding supplies and Supplier routine. Presently working in SAP environment for raising contracts, PO Imports & local. Coordinate with Marketing & R&D team for on time delivery of all innovation/renovation projects (OTIF). Co-ordinate with Regional Supply Management and local reporting for sourcing, savings and benchmarking exercises.
