Joined the Company in July 2008 as a Business Development Officer after Graduating with Joint Hons from University of Birmingham, U.K.
After three months joining the Company, the recession hit. The Company was involved in Real Estate & Construction Business. Two months after the recession hit, I was made Business Development Executive and was handed over the complete charge of the Company. My Duties as a Business Development Executive were managing the entire Real Estate Brokerage business, promoting brand, exploring new businesses, managing International Offices & Clients, report directly to the CEO, laying off the staff to cut costs, minimize the costs in order to survive the Company and close the unnecessary companies without defaulting. I fulfilled all above roles with extreme efficiency and was awarded Saiban Young Employee of the year 2009.
I arranged jobs for the staff I had lay off so they don't spend a day unemployed, including the office boy to Top Sales Consultants.
I played a key role in opening up of two companies, Overseas Employment & General Trading.
Helped with the selection and recruitment process whilst working with the HR team. Used a variety of common IT applications to carry out a range of tasks. Worked in a large team of 50-60 people. Built team spirit by listening to and taking suggestions on board made by staff in the team. Communicated with employees’ overseas and suggesting improvements that could be undertaken whilst at Saiban Group sometimes involving speaking another language other than English Strong presentation skills and confidence demonstrated by presentations in different languages to groups of 5 to 30. Arranged several marketing events and socials throughout my career at Saiban Group.
Completed Joint Hons in BEng Business Management with Civil Engineering. Scored the highest every year. Top student in my Degree for complete 3 years.
