Implementing and Designing the core network for ITCC/KAFD Projects
1- Responsible for monitoring the network in order to discover the problems before it happened.
2- Ensuring that all VSAT services of O&M meet the required standards.
3- Insure to implement all of the processes and procedures within the NOC.
4- Work with groups within VSAT NOC and customer IT staff in resolving problem issues.
Working with kushite as a network engineer in the telecommunication department responsible for installing and configuring different nodes o the network e.g. routers, switches. Also worked in the following projects with kushite in the Ministry of the Interior in Sudan : Installing cisco core switches and Nexus switches in the Civil Registration System (CRS) Data Center. Connecting different sites of the electronic passport system throw VPN ( Virtual Private Network ) . The project of MENOS (Multimedia Exchange Network Over Satellite) which is used for connecting electronic passport system and CRS.
I worked with Hertz Technology which is a subcontract company for Huawei as a site engineer installing Huawei 3900 RBS(Node B) in different sites in Khartoum .
the main duties and responsibility is to monitor the network nodes 24/7.
Alarm monitoring at a regular interval.
Logging and documentation of Network issues like site down time and up time.
Raising trouble tickets and maintain up to date.
Inform to the respective team.
always informed support team about any planned activities.
quick and accurate trouble shooting of BSC, MSC and HLR its concerned auxiliary units
Administration activities like preparing reports and taking back up.
