I am working as a Technical Support Engineer for Low Voltage systems such as CCTV (Dahua, Hikvision, Somfy, Uniview & others), Time and Attendance (ZKTeco), PBX (Panasonic & XONTEL), Basic Data Network & Somfy Home Automation. I am offering support for both residential and commercial sectors remotely or by on-site visits including participating in new systems installation arranged with the company management and technicians.

In addition, I am involved in some indoor and outdoor sales related tasks such as meeting with new clients, introducing our company profile, quotes preparation, after sale following up and videos capturing for technicians and ongoing installations in working fields, which are used for marketing purposes.

I am working in KOC integrated security systems project. I work in site in north Burqan field and I got used to work under pressure and in difficult environment.

I am involved in many tasks in this project like:

1- Doing OnGuard system configurations for all systems. This includes reporting to different sites in KOC for direct SMS configuration in case of network issues which don’t allow us to connect remotely.

2- Creating SMS setting tables for any required site of any required portion and updating these tables as per changes we receive continuously.

3- I am involved in testing and commissioning issues for different systems as per the requests we receive from system owners, especially in the configurations side and demonstration preparing for KOC staff.

4- Doing multiple necessary translations (Arabic-English) for maps and SMS setting tables and system alarms names.

5- Helping and supporting in training of new engineers joining in the configuration team, on how to use OnGuard, create SMS setting tables and what responsibilities we have in the configurations team.

6- Helping and supporting in SMS configuration team leading and tasks dividing.

7- Creating Operations & maintenance manuals for ACS & IDS & SMS, including contacting vendors & internet search for equipments user guides.

8- Creating Guards Training manuals.

9- Helping in OnGuard maps design.

The factory main purpose is to produce an insulation material panels called polyurethane panels used in many places like in buildings and homes. Also, I had the chance to get valuable information about how the management goes there, like sales and marketing of the final produced material. I learned alot about team working in this factory. It was a perfect experience for me.

The digital wattmeter is an important device in the electrical engineering laboratories which measures the Power and shows the reading in a digital form. The project team consists of two members and we learned that team working is an important part in such projects. Princess Sumaya University is known for being one of the best universities in Jordan for teaching Electronic Engineering and other IT courses.
