Coach and monitor HSE Officers on implementation of HSE management system
Support rig management to comply with HSE management system, client requirements and regulations, legislations and international standards.
Perform internal HSE audits, inspections and surveys
Ensure client HSE audits and inspections findings are tracked for close-out
Perform external evaluation audits and inspections on subcontractors
Perform and participate in accident/incident investigations
Liaise HSE manager on implementation of HSE management system
Analyse company HSE statistics, identify areas for improvements and demonstrate the effectiveness of the HSE management system
Review, revise and establish HSE management system procedures, plans and programs
Develop specific HSE Cases and Contingency plans/Emergency Response Plans
Develop HSE campaigns and HSE training programs
Develop bridging documents among the subcontractors and clients
Participate in researches and case studies for the equipment to develop and update safe work practices and procedures of existing and new drilling equipment

Ensure that all safety measures included in the Project HSE Plan have been implemented
Ensure that the safe working and emergency procedures have been implemented
Promote Project HSE Plan by personal example
Participate in the accident/incident investigations along with the Tool Pusher
Issue relevant monthly HSE reports
Promote periodical safety meetings
Conduct regularly scheduled meetings
Implement environmental mitigation measures and environmental protection methods for the project, according with local and Client requirements
Monitor and enforce safety and environmental requirements of all sub-contractors
Conduct regular inspections of the place of work
Attend the Client safety meetings
Provide information, instruction and/or training to personnel
Ensure that Permits to Work System have been carried out properly
Organise safety and environmental training courses for all new employees
Provide written reports as requested in a timely and correct manner
Establish and maintain at all-time a “hand over book” for acquination of reliever
Be familiar with Company and Client HSE requirements

Monitor the mud properties.
Report mud properties on a daily basis to company man to stand on the effectiveness of solid control equipment.
Rigging up and down solid control equipment.
Responsible for daily lifting operations of cutting boxes and equipment.
