Responsibilities
• As a member of the Board of CPA - an independent statutory administration body - contribute to the promotion and protection of a pro-competitive regulatory environment in Kuwait.
• Participate in deliberations of the Board to deal with various matters related protection of competition including approval of policies and procedures for protection and furthering of competition; proposal of draft laws and regulations for consideration by the Council of Ministers as well as review of draft laws related to competition protection.
• Review and approve various actions under appropriate rules and regulations including sanctioning of fines for violations, requests for exemptions related to practices, agreements, contracts or decisions restricting free competition.
• Review and recommend appropriate action on cases of dominance an economic concentration presented to the Board as well as reports of the Executive Director on notifications, requests and complaints.
• Recommend corrective actions for anti-competitive practices as per approved policies and procedures of CPA.
• Review and pass appropriate orders on requests for settlement and reconciliations as well as on recommendations by the Appeals Commission.
• Adopt the report of annual activities of CPA and its future plan for review by the minister before submission to the Council of Ministers.
• Approve the organization structure of CPA, regulations related to organization of work and the workers statute as well as technical regulations for submission to the Council of Ministers.
• Participate in concluding agreements and protocols of joint agreements and follow up for ratification by competent authorities.
• Review and approve the authority’s draft budget and balance sheet prior to submission to competent authorities.
Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Minister’s office contributing to the achievement of all predefined objectives.
• Develop, coordinate execution of, monitor and report status of plans aimed to deliver the Minister’s mission, goals and objectives.
• Serve as a member of the Minister’s team of advisors and act the point of contact for all interactions of the Minister with other advisors.

• Created the digital version of the media published on smartphone, tablet and web platforms.
• Formulated and executed the magazine’s marketing plans with launch and post-launch events in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
