Job Profile:
As Project Manager, working in a big organization where all works are being executed internally (by BOND’s in house teams). Actually BOND have all the divisions which are required for the interior fit out works including the Civil, Joinery, MEP, Glass, Metal, Painting, Solid surface, upholstery, Signage, Design, Planning & trading divisions. This will require a high skilled project manager who will be responsible to lead all involved teams from A - Z in order to achieve the project’s goals as well as to meet the client’s expectation. The role of project manager is covering different areas of project management, including planning, controlling, evaluating, estimating, coordinating, communicating, & project close out with defined Key Performance Parameters-
• Review the project documents, identify scope of works for each involved team, raise the concern(s) and propose sufficient solutions.
• Build up the ‘Master schedule of works’, define the project’s milestones, stages, procurement schedule, submission & approval periods.
• Prepare / manage the histogram, delivery schedules, supplier & specialized subcontractors involvement
• Meet client, consultant, authorities & supplier as needed to run the project smoothly, discuss the project progress, concern(s) & propose proper solution
• Lead involved teams to work in a coordinated plan, defined role & clear communication channels to ensure correct information to the right person on time.
• Ensure the proper project’s documentation, to reserve the rights to claim additional time / cost when work variations are being on place, prepare EOT as needed.
• Manage the project’s resources for the best productivity rates, work to build up the project team with effective members, teach / train the staff and believe in the staff capability & their distribution on project’s goal.
Contributions:
• 05 projects have been assigned to me during this short employment period, these projects are:
Project-1: Ali Al Aidarous - International Practice legal office extension @ Al Garhoud - Dubai.
Project-2: Sacoor kids @ Mirdiff City Centre. It is a new brand for ‘Zorion Trading’ - specialized kids retail store.
Project-3: Office extension for BOND interiors in Sharjah for Design & Trading divisions (in house project)
Project-4: Diwan Al Muhanna Restaurant & Sweet. It is G+M project with kitchen & show room space.
Project-5: ELAPCO offices in EMAAR Blvd Plaza T1 - Unit 2401. Prestigious CEO office.
Job Profile:
As Manager Project Planning, covering different areas of project management, including planning, controlling, evaluating, estimating, coordinating, communicating, & project close out with defined Key Performance Parameters-
• Controlling project from commencement till completion while working hard to meet project success criteria; namely: budget, quality & time parameters.
• Building up, updating & monitoring work schedules, reporting on any slippage & advising for corrective actions.
• Managing project plan by verifying sequence of works, assigning resources, considering long lead items, critical paths & evaluating schedule outputs (Histogram, S-curve, …etc.)
• Review revised and recovery schedules of works, as well as to reviewing submittal of Extension of Time (EOT) & validating contractor claims.
• Issuing work instructions, evaluating work variations, collecting / reviewing quotations, meeting sub-contractors / supplier, negotiating on their offers & finalizing contracts.
• Arranging necessary kick off, progress, technical & commercial meeting & thereafter preparing minutes of meeting.
• Proper communication with all involved parties (End users, designers, HSSE team, contractors, sub contractors & suppliers) to run the project smoothly and avoid miscommunication.
• Following up on the projects closeout documents, meeting the project end users & ensuring readiness to meet design criteria & end user expectations.
• Preparing & reviewing project documents, namely: contact, addendum, BOQ, drawings & specifications.
• Managing project' team & involved parties, aiming to successful completion.
Contributions:
• Made noteworthy contribution in completing ‘du’ main offices for more than 3, 000 employees, & CEO offices in Dubai & AUH as well as ‘du’ call centers in Dubai & Fujairah.
• Spearheaded efforts to complete flagship Megastores & Retail shops at over 50 locations across the UAE.
• Initiated steps to produce ‘du’ standard design & guidelines manual.
• Successfully reduced the project cost (unit rate) by more than 25% during the past 5 years.
• Introduced best practices in the construction work and successfully met the stringent quality standards.

24 storeys Al Salam Tecom Tower (G.F and 23rd to 45th floor) with CEO / Chairman office in upper floors, Multifunction floors (reception, flagship, meeting, training, cafeteria & 17 standard office floors), with total area of 235, 000 sq. ft., with complete MEP works, conversion systems, & furniture.
Project: DU- H.Q & Business Center, Abu Dhabi, project value AED 18 Million

Project Description: Prestigious CEO office in Golden Falcon Tower in Hamdan street, Abu Dhabi, with total area of 25, 000 sq. ft., including superior finishing as the ‘du’ Flagship @ AUH.
Project: DU Offices @ Academic City, Dubai, project value AED 25 Million
Consultant: Archdome Consulting Engineers, Contractors: Creative Concept and ETA Star Interiors
Project Description: Office space with total area of 200, 000 sq. ft, including raised floor system distributed in two 11 storey buildings # 8 & 9.
Project: DU shop / Kiosk / Mega stores / Flagships/ Call center @ UAE
Consultant: Fitch, ‘du’ internal design team (in house team)
Contractors: Bond, Cubics & ILID
As Planning Engineer, involved in contracts execution, as well as cost & quality control of project with Key Performance Matrices-
• Interfaced with the client, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Analysed collated data on project progress as well as technical specifications.
• Vetted contractual documentation, potential risk analysis, key timing issues, and maintained project documentation
• Handled man management issues as well as monitored resource utilisation at project site to maximize productivity
• Monitored data dates & program milestone to prepare schedule & maintain work programs.
• Prepared work variation, Extension of Time (EOT), & monthly valuation (monthly report)

Project Description: Handled 32 nos. residential / commercial buildings, distributed over 3 zones, with G+3F & G+4F design patterns over contract period of nearly two years

Project Description: Handled 40 storey G+M+3P+H.C residential building, with contract period of over 2 years
As Site Engineer/ Planning Engineer, handled the office & site works with measurable Key Performance Indices-
