- Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and supporting schedules according to US GAAP.
- Engaged in cost budgeting and planning in order to reach optimal expenditure and increase profits.
- Engaged in the preparation of annual budgets (Revenues & Expenses) and preparing variances reports.
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
- Prepare Cash Flows statement in coordination with the Financial Manager.
- Preparing Internal Management Reports (Gross margin, Sales reports, Expenses, Partial P&L…).
- Communicate with debtors and creditors and follow up on their respective balances.
- Preparation of payroll taxes and NSSF for employees.
- Assist in the successful completion of internal and external audit of accounts.
- Monthly control of depreciation, expenses, unearned revenue, and related closing entries.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Job Description:
- Tutoring students on an individual or group basis by appointment or drop-in.
- Helping students to understand their courses by providing high quality resources of materials.
- Organize and compiling the teaching materials (textbooks, online resources…).
- Reporting any problems with schedules/ or tutees to the director of Tutors United.
- Attendance at all tutors training events (Fall, Spring, and monthly training).
- Assist Tutors United management in some accounting and auditing issues as requested.
