Vendor Manager supports the end-to-end vendor relationship, from on-boarding new vendors to creating catalog items, enabling negotiations, managing promotional activities and resolving operational or logistics issues that impact our customer. Helps leverage key metrics to develop customer insights to drive innovation, and will leverage these insights to increase vendor participation in marketing, merchandising and promotional activities in order to drive overall business growth
- Assisted buyers on closing agreements with vendor and registering them to the system.
- Directly communicated with partners to ensure end-to-end business operations.
- Worked closely with vendors on requests regarding catalog, marketing and other business operation related matters, with minimal supervisions from Buyer.
- Managed buying seasonal/evergreen products to maintain a healthy and in-season inventory.
- Created and maintained an ordering tracker to avoid unnecessary delays in end-to-end process (from order dates to setting the products live on website).
- Maintained and managed sales tracker for a category, used as main reference in checking day-to-day business trends and for capturing potential callouts.
- Worked closely with internal stakeholders on ensuring end-to-end process on deals, pricing, ordering to be executed accordingly.
- Responsible on end-to-end ordering process, from ordering new selections to making them live/buyable in the website.
- Managed catalog creation and enhancements for multiple brands/category.
- Assisted Buyers on ordering and receiving phase to ensure all details are provided properly and orders are tracked accordingly.
- Contributed in overall process of catalog enhancement through familiarity on multiple tools and system.
- Managed pricing, offers and listings update in timely manners through Souq system.
