Job Responsibility as Assistant Manager (Accounts & Finance)


 Maintenance of Accounts Payable, Receivable, Project accounts, Cash, Banks, General Ledgers & Sub Ledgers

 Ensure correct accounting treatment and effective allocation for all the commercial transactions from the audit as well as tax point of view

 To monitor the Budget on a regular basis and to prepare budget based on Zero based budgeting

 Preparation of monthly MIS report and timely effective communication and reporting on the financial position, cash follow and outstanding liabilities

 Cash flow arrangements and payment process to contractors and debtors

 Preparation of various analysis such as parties analysis, accounts analysis, manpower analysis & cost reduction analysis

 Analyzing the income Statement and Balance sheet

 Helping in MIS report and presentation for quarterly board meeting namely Variance analysis, Contribution margin analysis, Monthly Profit & Loss A/C.

 Bank reconciliation, Monthly & Quarter dealing with the company Auditors, handling and finalizing of the financial statements with them

 Assisting CFO in preparing budgets and MIS and management reports

 Internal Audit Dept Formation and finalizing the audit reports for the selected topics

I have been hired by Alexandria Fiber Co as Accounts Section Head for its new expansion project and due to my high performance I have been nominated to work in the president office as a president assistant in addition to my responsibility for the project Accounts. Afterwards the company decided to create an internal audit Dept and they have make me the head of that Dept

Alexandria Fiber Co. SAE is an Indo-Egyptian joint venture company, it is also the latest addition to Aditya Birla Acrylic Fiber Business. One of the largest business houses in India across 25 countries.

• Alexandria Fiber Co is the first-ever plant of its kind in Middle East and North Africa Regions, it has started the business with a Capital of EGP 286, 550, 000 and an annual production capacity of 18000 TPA Acrylic Fiber for local Market and Exports Markets.

• Alexandria Fiber Co .SAE is a green field project in a new country. It walks on the path of continuous improvement to become World Class Organization with various quality accolades to sustain in the present business scenario.

During the year 2007, Alexandria Fiber Co was implementing an expansion project with a budget of US$ 59 Million which has increased production capacity from 18, 000 Tons to 38, 000 Tons per year in 2010 and 58, 000 Tons per year by 2011. This project was implemented with in the budget and time schedule. This is a relocation of an existing plant from Spain. It was a new challenging position to keep track of the Accounting, Financials, Cash Flow, Budget Movements, MIS Reports, Contractors, Reconciliations and Capitalization
1- Job Responsibility as a Section Head Accounts and Finance (project Dept): From March, 2008 to April, 2010

 Ensure correct accounting treatment and effective allocation for all the project commercial transactions from the audit as well as tax point of view

 To control the project contracts and monitor the commitment and incurring against them at any point of time

 Maintain books of Accounts, General ledger, Sub Ledger & Accounts payable
