Keeping track of slow moving/non moving stocks and highlighting to business heads in order to
minimize the expiry and obsolescence charges and maintain inventory freshness
KPI Reviews - Present root cause analysis to top management on missed KPI’s with action points and
make sure maximum KPI hits (Days of Inventory, Non Moving, Freshness, OTIF, Obsolescence)
Maintain inventory and material management strategies for all RM/PM/FG by regular review and
optimization of inventory parameters and levels (Reorder point, safety stock, ABC categorization)
Copackers management for all promotions
Key user (Design, Testing & Training) for Oracle ASCP and Demantra modules implementation
Review historical sales trends, analyze demand drivers and prepare forecast data using Demantra
Management of MPS to align with sales forecasts considering lead times, inventory and safety stocks
Owner of designated S&OP processes to include 3-24 month planning horizon along with capacity
planning
Coordinates activities to ensure all materials are available for production in support of the master
schedule
Works with the corporate supply chain and central planning team to deploy strategic supply chain
initiatives
Develop the centralized S&OP package and enable key performance indicators to ensure alignment
between the IFFCO factories
Supply management and communication through the whole supply chain extending from our plant in
Sharjah via our distribution company in Jeddah
Managing new product initiatives, customization activities and promotions for our brands per sku and
product phase-outs in a highly seasonal sales environment
Customer Services:
Responsible for national product availability and reduction of out of stocks.
Managing the Oracle order to cash cycle and periodic gross sales delivery for the business.
Key user (Design, Testing & Training) for Oracle Order Management module implementation.
Manage customer service performance (KPIs): in-stock performance, inventory turns and OTIF.
Responsible for order management involving KSA and export orders for Lebanon, Yemen, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq.
Fulfilling distributor demand through efficient demand and supply process in order to accomplish maximum sales targets.
Manage and ensure timely supply to all the Key account and Bulk customers (Hyperpanda, Pepsico, Fonterra, Al Othaim, Indomie, Astra Foods, Unilever).
Logistics:
Negotiate transportation for rates or services.
Planning routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries.
Responsible for monthly dispatch of 8, 000 MT of finished goods.
Reports on logistics KPI’s including order fill ratios and freight cost analysis.
To insure shipments against transit damage and claims in the event of damage.
Look after reverse logistics to entertain customers complaints regarding services & physical goods.
Key user (Design, Testing & Training) for Oracle Transportation Management module implementation.
Work closely with brand and sales teams to plan new innovation volumes.
Execute smooth transition management of new innovations, re-launches and de-listed sku’s.
Analyze historical trends and managing the S&OP Process with responsibility for forecast accuracy.
Market assumptions verification through Consumer Panel/ Retail Audit data/ Focus Group/ Market visits.
Responsible for generating 8 quarter rolling un-constrained demand plan SKU-wise on weekly basis using SAP APO.
Maintaining forecast bias with target of +/- 5% by using the forecast bias loss tree and focus action plans to eradicate the root cause of losses.
Lead weekly demand review meeting to analyze the demand for all Walls sku's and to challenge the Sales & Trade Marketing team based on the historical sales and market need.
Lead in S&OP and weekly demand planning meetings.
Manage production planning and ensure optimal level of finished goods availability in regional warehouses for:
31 Retail finished goods skus
11 Industrial Business finished goods skus
Ensure and maintain safety stock levels of PM/RM to service production plans.
Active involvement with different business unit heads to build accuracy of sales forecasts.
Review and monitor non moving / slow moving stocks and escalate for liquidation well ahead of expiry.
Responsible for weekly and monthly production planning of 3 production units i.e. (Canfilling / Margarine / Oil Refinery) to ensure on national product availability.
Ensure continuity of supply to customers through co-ordination with Production, Purchase, Logistics and maintain KPI achievement of (on-time in full delivery) within defined service levels.
Ensure oils availability to facilitate timely tanker dispatches as per advised blend formulations by various customers (Engro Foods, Continental Biscuits, Unilever, Kolson, Tripple EM).
Develop Business Plans and Research Reports for products.
Formulate technical proposals, reports and supporting literature.
Assist in “Project Management” of the bid process, including the production of responses to RFIs and RFPs.
Prepare pre-sales project plan (includes requirements definition, solution design, solution proof (cost effective), business case, implementation & measurement plan).
