• Develop the approved supplier list on the commodities and services assigned.
• Identify potential areas of long term contracts and respective strategic sources.
• Process the PR as per the established Procurement procedure.
• Send RFQ’s to the suppliers and obtain competitive prices.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery and other terms and condition of the acceptable offer /s prior issuance of PO in SAP.
• Place commitment to the selected supplier through placing official PO, LOI, or any other means of written commitment to the supplier. Follow up acknowledgement from the supplier.
• Prepare Advance Bank Guaranty& Performance bank Guaranty based on the advance Paid & value of the project.
• Prepare and communicate contracts for all parties for POs more than 1Mn SAR.
• Following up with the supplier the delivery of material / service to ensure its compliance with the PO terms and conditions.
• Assist resolution of dispute / discrepancies from the suppliers.
• Liaise with Shared Services, internal customers, and suppliers to resolve payment issues to the suppliers.
• Review the outstanding PR’s / PO’s on regular basis to ensure meeting PR’s conversion to PO deadlines.
• Review outstanding PO’s with the suppliers on weekly basis to ensure material / services delivery on time.
• Coordinating planned sourcing/procurement activities with customers, and maintaining a high level of communication regarding their requirements. Informing them of changes in order status and/or delivery.
• Assisting in assessing and reporting on the performance and capabilities of existing suppliers.
• Developing enhanced capabilities in existing suppliers, Recommending new suppliers as appropriate to ensure continued cost reduction in major assigned commodities.
• Assist the manager to negotiate and finalize procurement of CAPEX & IMS items in his area of responsibilities

• Analyzing and understanding the Purchase Requisitions from End User.
• Sourcing of Vendors for procurement for the Capital Project by means of Tenders.
• Negotiating Rates, Goods & Service Agreement or Equipment Agreement and other Terms and Conditions such as IncoTerms with the vendors by choosing the best bid.
• Preparation of RFQ, Purchase Orders in SAP.
• Making Letter of Credit and other related necessary purchase documents by coordinating with Vendors, finance and taking approval of the proposal.
• Maintaining the Contracts & Preparing Saving Report after placing the order with the best Vendor.
• Follow up with supplier to ensure all commitments delivered on time. Arranging for Long Term Business Agreement.
• Maintaining and updating vendors list periodically. Checking and approving vendors invoices and coordinating with Finance and Accounts for ensuring the payments made to vendors to maintain cordial relationship in the interest of organization.
• Coordinating with Quality/Production departments with respect to quality of incoming materials, coordinating with Indegenisationdept to indigenes the imported items.
• Explaining rejection reasons to suppliers and follow up for replacement / rework Corrective Action taken and monitoring of corrective actions.
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand

• Working as consultant for the Spare parts Review & Cataloging Project of Saudi Aramco.
• Visiting Aramco sites & Warehouses for physical verification of OEM, OCM & general spares for review & checking of part numbers.
• Reviewing the Engineering documents such as Data sheet, GA drawings, Sectional drawings, Bill of materials(BOM)& priced spare parts list.
• Liaise with Original component manufacturer’s (OCM), Original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) and end user for the additional data required for cataloging.
• Participate in the project kick-off & bid explanation meeting.
• Conduct weekly spare parts kick off meeting with the LSTK, OEM, OCM & the proponent to meet the deadlines of the project.
• Provide training to the concerned Contractor / Supplier personnel on how to assemble complete & acceptable Spare Parts Data Package (SPDP).
• Maintain SPDPs processing status reports & provide the information to the projects & proponent/MRO organizations as required.
• Catalog the spare parts & operating materials data & upload in SAP
