Lastly was working with reputed International Company “Imperial Trading & Contracting Company “is a part of SASCO Group with 28 other division companies which is in Doha-Qatar.
• Currently working as Purchasing Officer, responsibilities includes evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs.), also have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure in identifying the most profitable offers for the organization.
• Ultimately, I need to create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.
This is a Ferrous & Non Ferrous company and also runs Logistic & Transportation Business too, and it mainly deals in Sales & Purchase company in the field of Iron & steel products like Bronze, Metal, TMT Bars, MOG Pig Iron, Mould, Bloom, angle, channels & Various kinds of other materials, we especially purchase materials from IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur, through the online bidding at www.metaljunction.com, so before bidding we need to submit Demand Drafts and other essential papers to Marketing department of IISCO (ISP), after winning the bid we get our Delivery Order for the material with all details included.
• I was appointed as a Sales Coordinator but later promoted as a Purchase/ Logistic Officer in the year of 2012, my job role as a part of sales team is to contact our corporate customers once we lift the material and I am responsible for the closing the deal with a beneficial margin, while having a meeting regarding Material price and quality, we also provide lab test to customers for their complete satisfaction to measure the percentage, after sales I also need to cooperate with our logistic team for Invoicing, Claims, Declaration, Way Bills, C Form, Form F, BRS, Customer Query report, Monthly
Budget and Preparing MIS Report etc..
For 3 months worked in an International Company “AFRICAN & EASTERN METALS LDA “ Which is in Beira, Mozambique (Africa) on a shutdown Project from April 2013 to July 2013 as a “Purchase/ Logistic Officer”.
• Oversaw arrangement for logistical support.
• Coordinated logistics functions with purchasing, sales and inventory.
• Supervised, trained and mentored warehouse staff.
• Ensured accurate documentation for all activities.
• Provided short term capacity building and technical assistance to staff.
My Role as a Counter Sales Officer is to welcome and greet the customer and ensure every client about the product information at our showroom, look after deliverance with good service after sales and try to build a good relation for the future leads from them, as our showroom has target of 50 motor cycles sale every month with the help of two field sales executive, apart from this I also manage the total showroom work like Official calls, E-mail & other paper works of showroom.
