Roles &
Responsibilities
▪ Quote all assigned products for the market Product Line served globally
to customers per the go to market strategy service level requirements.
▪ Respond to customer phone calls and emails timely and professionally.
▪ Review incoming requests from the filtering team and/or direct from
customer, review customer requirements including technical and
commercial specifications and documents.
▪ Calculate price and discounts utilizing approved process and price lists
▪ Coordinate with the appropriate costing/pricing authority when products
or special adders are outside of the standard price lists.
▪ Provide solutions or offer alternatives to the customer inquiries that
meet their requirements
▪ Prepare and send quotations on time quotations that exceed the
customer expectations.
▪ Cultivate friendly, personal relationships with key customers, learning
their needs and preferences.
▪ Provide accurate and timely information to customers, field sales
personnel, and other regarding orders, inquiries and other related
activities.
▪ Performs administrative functions supporting customer service
functions, sales order entries
▪ Provides monthly status of open orders and follows up with both
customers and production
▪ Maintains record of assets' delivery progress and invoicing
▪ Interacts with Production/ Buyer/ Planner for follow up of customer
orders
▪ Resolve licensing issues received from customers and record in support
database
▪ Maintain and improve the integrity of the data in the MFGPRO database

▪ Coordinates orders and shipments between manufacturing and
customer.
▪ Interfaces directly with credit and collections, sales, shipping,
purchasing, and other necessary departments and associates to ensure
effective and timely service to customer.
▪ Tracks and reports to customer and sales staff delivery date, any
anticipated delays, conflicting terms and conditions of customer's
purchase orders
▪ Constant interaction with the customers keeping the Sales Managers /
Branches worldwide always involved

WEG, which provides efficient solutions with electric machines globally, has its head office
in Jaraguá do Sul in Brazil. Employing over 25, 000 staff around the world, WEG was
founded in 1961 as a manufacturer of electric motors. Today, it is a major systems supplier,
providing complete turnkey solutions including motors, inverter drives, soft starters, PLCs,
high and low voltage switchgear, transformers and systems software to a diverse range of
market sectors. It has manufacturing plants in Brazil, India, Portugal, Argentina, Mexico and
China.
WEG India will produce Medium and High Voltage Synchronous and Asynchronous Motors
and Generators. The plant is in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, near Bangalore. The total area covers
170 thousand square meters and the facilities stand on 32 thousand square meters.
Roles &
Responsibilities
▪ Review the client’s informal and formal Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
▪ Analyze the requests for quotations;
▪ Analyze and understand the application;
▪ Analyze the technical specifications;
▪ Create offers in SAP;
▪ Send query claims thro SAP to related areas (Design, quality, PPC,
procurement);
▪ Generate documentation via ASSOM and SAP;
▪ Register and control information in spreadsheets (Follow up Offers);
▪ Negotiate terms of Manufacturing with Customers and Branches;
▪ Evaluate technical responses from Engineering / Quality / Customers /
Branches / Suppliers;
▪ Evaluate costs;
▪ Discuss technical solutions proposed by Engineering / Quality /
Customers / Branches / Suppliers and propose alternatives where
applicable;
▪ Contact vendors to specify and quote equipment’s to be offered along
with WEG energy products;
▪ Technical and Commercial evaluation;
▪ Send offers to the market;
▪ Make project profitability analysis;
▪ Analyze the contracts;
▪ Process the order in SAP;
▪ Follow up internal manufacturing targets and documents;
▪ Technical & commercial discussions post order;
▪ Inspection coordination;
▪ Dispatch activities coordination;
▪ Payments follow up;
▪ Constant interaction with the customers keeping the WEI Sales
Managers / WEG Branches worldwide always involved
