Responsibilites

─STEP Wastewater Pump Station PMC, Abu Dhabi - Electrical/ICA engineer responsible for review of the design & build contractor’s detailed EICA designs for this 30m3/s 100m deep 40m internal diameter wastewater pump station. This will be one of the world’s largest wastewater pump stations.



Design review, Submittal review and site supervision of ADSSC Pumping Station,

DCS system architecture review and comments with respect to process, interfacing with existing system to new system feasibility study and approvals, reviewing the method statement and preparing ITP (Field Quality plant) for installation, testing and commissioning of field instruments, project schedule reviewing and attending the site meeting with client and contractor, evaluations on monthly/weekly progress report further reporting to client
─ Selection of materials according the process fluid also issuing approval for material submittals, I/O list with relevant contract specifications, reviewing instruments location drawings/hookup drawings/loop drawings/Inter connection drawings, approval of vendor’s drawings as per project site requirements and technical specification requirements. Inspecting the field instruments installation/calibration and start up
─ Approval of dosing system calculations,
─ Attending the FAT (factory acceptance test) and SAT (site acceptance test) for SCADA/DCS also field instruments
─ Monitoring the site I&C system construction activities and issuing CAR (corrective action request) and NCR ( non conformance report), attending the CoC (construction of completion) and making LOP (list of punch), making report on initial operation test, reliability test run and net dependable capacity run, Implementing industrial safety, health and the environment.

New Darsait STP- Muscat, Oman

Responsibilities included:

─ Project design review, execution, preparation of project plan, technical submittals, calculations, shop drawings, method statements and control philosophy
─ Preparing electrical / instrument data sheet and all relevant submittals for the project, developing the P&ID’s, FDS (functional design specification for automation) submitting instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, instrument hook-up diagrams, instrument location layout, routing layout, termination diagram for instrumentation and control system
─ Coordination with system integrator for DCS control architecture and FDS and developing SLD from tender drawing further get approval from consultant, coordination work with utility provider for substation approval (SLD and SS layout)
─ Preparing MAS for electrical equipment and I&C equipment, MV and LV SLD preparation and coordination with utility provider for approvals
─ Electrical equipment load schedule, emergency load schedule, equipment data sheet, cable sizing calculation, cable schedule, electrical shop drawings such as equipment layout, cable route and earthing layouts.

JEDDAH RO DESALINATION PLANT - 3 (52.8 MIGD)/ SWCC, K.S.A

Responsibilities

 RO Design review of 52.8 MIGD RO Plant (Jeddah RO 3 plant/ SWCC Jeddah, K.S.A)
 P & ID review and comments according to process and safety aspects, issuing comment/approval to the contractor
 DCS FDS Architecture, DCS I/O list, DCS panel review and issuing comment sheet and approvals.
 Field instruments selection and approvals
 Review and comment the following, Instrument Hook up drawings, Instrument layout drawings, I & C Panel wiring drawings, Loop drawings, logic drawings, inter connection drawings, I&C Cable route drawings and I&C Earthings drawings.
 Review the plant Instrument list along DCS set point and co ordinate with process engineers
 Review and approvals for vendor package system submittals such as Electro chlorination, Sea water screening system, Chemical dosing system and fire fighting system
 Co ordinate with process engineer for control philosophy review and approval for RO and vendor package system
 Review and comment the shop inspection test plan and field inspection test plan also method statement.
 Attending the meeting with client and contractor

2. SWCC PILOT PLANT 96 Cu.M/day MSF Unit Al-Jubail R&D Center
 Attending pre commissioning activities with SWCC R&D engineers such as loop testing (open loop and closed loop tests), analyzer calibrations, Dosing system verifications.
 Attending SAT for SCADA system

Responsibilities

 RO RO Design review of 52.8 MIGD RO Plant (Jeddah RO 3 plant/ SWCC Jeddah, K.S.A)
 RO Design review and site supervision of 33 MIGD RO Plant (Shuaibah IWPP Expansion Project in Jeddah KSA)
 DCS system architecture review and comments with respect to process.
 Interfacing with existing system to new system feasibility study and approvals
 Reviewing the Method statement & Preparing ITP (Field Quality plant) for installation, testing & commissioning of field instruments
 Project schedule reviewing and attending the site meeting with client & contractor
 Evaluations on Monthly/weekly progress report and reporting to client.
 P&ID development with PFD according to site condition.
 Selection of materials according the process fluid also issuing approval for material submittals, I/O list with relevant contract spec.

Developing and reviewing of P&ID’s, FDS (Functional design specification for Automation) submitting Instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, Instrument hook-up diagrams, Instrument location layout, Routing layout, termination diagram for instrumentation & control system.
Installation of field Instruments as per the Installation procedure and primary and secondary cable laying and routing, junction boxes, control panel wiring and termination.
Familiar with all water analyzers /calibrations, control valves with positioners,
SCADA/DCS configuration/network testing along with automation dept (Siemens WinCC, EPKS Honey well, GE Cimplicity and Citech Scada)
Involved in pre commissioning and commissioning / Startup activities, such as loop check, valve test and SCADA/DCS sequence tests.
Installation of HV & LV switch gear with all relevant testing as Primary injection, secondary injection, di electric tests, transfer ratio test, vector diagram
