Integrated Campus Automation System (ICAS) Engineer is responsible for oversight and
maintenance of the integration and front end of the Building Automation System, Fire Life Safety
system, Lutron lighting system, and Power Monitoring system. ICAS Engineer ensures that the
fourkey building systems that comprise the ICAS operate effectively, efficiently and safely by
means of direct maintenance, repair and improvement of all ICAS systems installed at KAUST
facilities which include: electrical and electronic control systems such as Power Monitoring, fire life
safety system, lighting system and Building Automation Systems. Oversees troubleshooting and
maintenance activities in disciplines such as advanced process control (APC), distributed control
systems (DCS), Building Automation Systems BAS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and
supervisory controland data acquisition (SCADA). Develop standards and operating parameters
for the ICAS systems.Oversee the preventive maintenance and change management of the
hardware and software for thesystems. Managing the operations of the ICAS to assure all
technical parameters of the respectivebuilding system are met while providing improvement
schemes for the building sequence of operations
BAS ENG. (building automation system): Maintenance, programming and commissioning AHU’S
(Air Handling Units), FCU’S, VAV’S, Plumping, Chilled Water Systems, Solar hot water, SCHWP
(Supplementary Chilled Water system), Nitrogen system and many other systems; Electrical
installation & panel knowledge; HVAC understanding and awareness; Programing Alerton VLC
and BCM Controller, Graphics design and troubleshooting controller in a BACnet MSTP -
Ethernet network for Building Automation Systems; Holding certificates from ALERTON in
