PROFILE
A competent and organised Registered Nurse, who is able to work as part of a team and manage several priorities at any given time, while meeting organizational goals and objectives. I greatly benefited from professional training and experience, while working as part of a multi-disciplinary team at the University of Zambia Health Services in Providing Quality Management, Clinical Documentation and Nursing services while promoting patients’ safety . Through evaluation, reporting and interpretation of documented in formation from medical history, and test results from diagnostic laboratories, I worked with other medical staff in promoting and supporting of Quality Improvement initiatives to better health care for patients. While possessing a developed work centred ethic philosophy, a keen desire to learn, through innovative skills together with practical clinical skills, increasing personal and professional standards I managed an Eye Project and trained staff.

Managed the Lusaka Urban Eye Project, with an annual funding from Sight Savers International.
• Planned the recruitment of new clinical staff and trained them for their roles.
• Promoted Quality Improvement initiatives to better health care for patients.
• I electronically documented records, evaluated and interpreted for research purposes.
• Was also responsible for program planning, implementation and management, operations, budgetary control and reporting.

While possessing knowledge in quality improvement principles and methodologies, I analysed data using statistical principles utilized in health care. I Registered Nursing, quality control and Clinical Documentation duties by providing professional evaluation, reporting and interpretation of documented medical records. With my vast knowledge in medical terminologies, medical procedures and applicable laws to collect and evaluate medical documentation while using in some cases, the International Statistical Classification of Diseases (ICD), I:-

Managed and supervised the counselling department were I tackled different issues including medical, surgical, Substance abuse and behavioural disorder and promoted result oriented Behavioural Change rehabilitation for individuals and families while maintaining confidentiality.
