To create a fit process for governing and aligning Market Research, Marketing Events, and Products and Services Portfolio Management segments with business objectives. Will ensure ISE portfolio (Products and Services solutions/initiatives) are managed in accordance with cost, performance, quality and market relevance. Ensure processes related to portfolio and marketing are as defined methodology are aligned with business objectives, Moreover, lead and ensure all activities required are met in a timely manner.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
*To create and manage fit for purpose processes and procedures for governing, controlling and improving ISE Products and Solutions Portfolio Management aligned with business strategy
*To create and manage fit for purpose processes and procedures for governing, controlling and improving Event and Marketing Management aligned with business strategy
*To create and manage fit for purpose processes and procedures for governing, controlling and improving Market Research aligned with business strategy
*Manage overall website content for consistency in current products solutions and services.
To manage the development of press packages and encourage local media coverage of marketing events.
*Manage the selection of corporate branded and executive gift items, calendars and related promotional material.
*Manage all aspects of business support needs and integration between the Account Management and the technical authority, the bidding team, and including but not limited to R&D in ISE.
JOB CONTEXT
•The jobholder will provide service and guidance in Business Winning and Development sections to ensure meeting products and services promotion and assist the Account Management in selling our products and services in line with ISE practices.
•The job holder will work in ISE HQ closely with his counterpart from related functions to successfully manage a successful road map of ISE’s portfolio of products and services throughout its life cycle.
I was hired in this account in order to further support and enhance the business opportunities between Aramco and MaBas-STME (Storage Middle East). Also, my roles similarly cover the rest of big accounts in Eastern Provence and Bahrain. The main roles and tasks include and not limited to:
• Pre-Sale activities
• Proof of concepts of liable hardware and software products.
• Maintain existing support contracts and manage the support engineers and resources.
• Manage existing support models between the customer and the manufacturers which we represent at the customer site.
• Work on bid support and proposals for solutions of customer requirements.
• Study of customer site requirements and report on business opportunities and technical solutions qualification with the customer.
• Provide 3rd level analysis and problem escalation management of complex technical issues at the customer’s sites related to the supported environments (NAS Storage, SAN Storage, Tape libraries, Networking components, security, etc.)
• Backup for Sales Manager activities during his absence.
Managing IT Data Storage for the Exploration and Peroluim Engineering of ARAMCO. There is around 2 PetaBytes of storage in this area which R&D scientist and production engineers use for sceismic and various other activities. I am specifically in charge of the NAS storage management, planning and expansion. Most of which is hosted on various advanced technologies expecially storage solutions from Network Applience, which I am now certified engnieer. I am also, applying my skills to enhance procedures in our environment to match recommendations from ITIL which I hold a managers certificate for Service Delivery and Managent.
It is worth mentioning that I have gained my employer's (Aramco) confidence as they granted me root password and priveledges in less than a month from joining the organization.
This is a leading position with in the business with the main role of moving IT service delivery to the world standard of ITIL. ITIL is OGC’s(the Office of Government Commerce) IT Infrastructure Library that provides a comprehensive set of best practice, drawn from the public and private sectors internationally, supported by a comprehensive qualification scheme, accredited training organizations, implementation and assessment tools
My role in this position is to transfer Service Support and Service Delivery to be managed according to ITIL. In that, a long term plan to adopt a Business Service Culture within the organization. I am initially to take responsibility of the Telecommunications section, the Help Desk and User Support, the Reprographics department (Press) and Service Delivery Management. After setting up the basis for Service Culture, work through the long term targets of service delivery across all of IT Services supporting the business.
I was chosen for this position because of my communications skills, flexibility in terms of new skills and tasks as I have experience in Help Desk, User Support, Network Management in Novell and NT, and Unix Systems Administration. Throughout the years of experience, I have gained a powerful command in IT trouble shooting, strategy and business awareness
Carry out Service Delivery Management for BAE-KSA along with the service delivery manager within CSC in the UK.
Participation in the process of IT strategy planning and future forecasting for BAE Systems and bring in line the drifting IT-KSA into the main stream of the bigger picture of the organization.
Design the process for the deployment of a large scale Dedicated Manufacturing System in KSA to be used to upgrade/rebuild the Tornado aircrafts owned by RSAF in Kingdom. A decision was to be made to go for a 3rd party application like IFS or an in-house built DMS system. Microsoft Sharepoint:
I was assigned to administer the corporate needs for a cost effective solution for document management. I have devised the mechanism and the metrics for calculating the success of the implementation as accurately as possible.
Video Conferencing:
The idea I suggested in 1996 in order to reduce the traveling cost for meetings that should be held face to face using Video Conferencing.This was adopted after the Sept. 11, I was given an essential role in testing and implementing it from the UK side.
Migration of E-Mail System from UNIX Based HP OpenMail to Microsoft Exchange Server:
By suggesting to run OpenMail for further 2 years and still migrate clients from cc:Mail to Outlook98, the company has saved a lot of money. I successfully delivered the project in KSA and now helping UK partners with all the technical issues they may face.
IT Management issues:
BAE SYSTEMS excluding KSA, have out sourced IT to CSC - a well known IT provider. There have always been issues when it comes to delivering IT services to the business that affects KSA. As an employee that knows the business in KSA I am helping in setting the correct level of SLAs that should be in place, trouble shooting service problems up to a consultancy level with direct involvement with Senior Engineers, Developers, etc

Printing solution on UNIX for SAP systems based in the UK. Print requests were sent to the server in the UK and the response comes back direct to the printer required in KSA. There was no way of administering and problems that can occur and no way of knowing were the problems exist. So, by writing a UNIX script that will run a printing utility that the SAP systems in the UK will always communicate with and get logged on the UNIX server. Then this UNIX print server will communicate with the printer in KSA.
Installation and Administrating of Netscape 3.0 on UNIX for BAE SYSTEMS Intranet.
Y2K compliance/upgrade project for all UNIX servers and Underlying applications like OpenMail and HP OpenView.
Mass Storage solution for UNIX and NT servers using a large Raid Box from EMC2
Supervised Netware 3.11 servers. The challenge there was that I had to build the necessary knowledge by self study. I carried out the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and user support. Also, I created menu driven applications to administer printing for the Graphics Department to automate the scanning of documents print/save with version control the target onto the CD-Read/Write Library integrated by a system developed by Informix
Achieved a BACHELOR DEGREE in COMPUTER ENGINEERING with HONORS. GPA: 3.321 on 4.0 scale I have managed to finish a number of projects during my study: Robotics: Engineered a method for encoding and decoding head movments by a handycapped person to control a robot's arm Microcomputer: designed and implemented a microcomputer in LAB with Basic input/output. Also, interfaced a ADC for real time sensor and control. Mutli processor and multi-programming Transputers: Interface a number of sonar gadgets (from poloroid) and written a parallel programme to calculate distance from all sensors at the same time. This is the initial project in order to interface this to bigger project where a robot arm would have sonars and could inteligently take decissiobns about reaching a destination eventhough a number of obsticles are in the way.(this is my seniour year project. - my grade was A )
