Define and implement plans to support the objectives of the business including Quality, ACE and Financial Metrics. Meet business metrics goals as defined - Quality, Cost, and Delivery. Lead process improvement opportunities using ACE and Lean Strategies to enhance quality, decrease process cycle time and reduce operational costs.

Coach employees to develop a motivated, effective team. Ensure all assigned personnel adhere to all applicable EH&S policies and procedures. Ensure commitment to the EH&S program by completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities. Currently implementing new training folder system on second shift while utilizing/learning ACE and developing standard work on various parts and processes.

Duties include but are not limited to Supervising, planning and directing production of frozen food products on various individual production lines/areas to produce products safely and consistently with designed quality. Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality, complying with USDA and OSHA requirements as well as other regulatory issues common to the food industry. Dealing with and managing frequent changes in production schedules and other regulatory rules, daily absenteeism, and mechanical breakdowns. Directly supervise 25-60 employees in the production department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Conagra's policies and applicable laws. Lean manufacturing/process improvement and training employees. Waste reduction, planning, assigning and directing work. Appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees. Addressing complaints and resolving issues. Managing compliance issues and consumer complaints.
Duties include but are not limited to Gram staining and Identification of various bacteria. Environmental monitoring, documenting results, and enumerating contaminants. Document tracking/control relative to production paperwork, SOP’s, FDA, USDA and cGMP’s. Performing gel-clot LAL Bacterial Endotoxin Testing on a variety of samples including In process goods, raw-materials, and finished products via Standard Testing Methods. Daily monitoring of WFI system via LAL BET testing, PH testing etc. Perform Endotoxin test of parenteral pharmaceutical products on animal models. Examine environmental monitoring samples for the presence of contaminants. Enumerated and identified contaminants. Maintain environmental monitoring documentation files and logbooks.
