Al Boom Marine was founded in Kuwait in 1987, with operations commencing in the UAE in 1990. Al Boom Marine currently operates 40 retail outlets and more than 200 wholesale accounts across the GCC. I manage and operate the Teamwear business supplying GCC sports teams/clubs, academies, schools and colleges with apparel and equipment for all sports. Current teamwear brands include Canterbury, Mitre and Zoggs.
I currently manage 30+ accounts and I am responsible for business development, contract negotiation, range design and development, pricing structure and account management. I oversee all aspects of the business to ensure a successful outcome is achieved for all.
Terrapinn is a leading business to business events company offering a portfolio of products and services to clients and business partners across numerous verticals. I am responsible for new business generation and managing existing client relationships. I deal with key decision makers at large multinationals, identifying their business needs and providing high value business solutions. The role requires me to interact with global organisations on a daily basis, provide great customer service and ensure successful outcomes.
I was employed by the EME Group as a Sales & Marketing Executive. I was a key member of the team working on EME’s real estate projects; the Lamborghini Building at Dubai Sports City and The Greens luxury villa project in Lahore, Pakistan. I was also instrumental in setting up a new investment and immigration service for the USA and Canada. My main duties and responsibilities included; liaising with VIP and high net worth individuals/clients, presenting projects and concepts, negotiating and closing sales and managing the design and production of all online/offline marketing collateral.
I was employed by Eqarat.com as Senior Leasing and Property Management Consultant. I was in charge of all leasing operations and oversaw all aspects of the business including the property management of 11 buildings in Dubai and the management of leasing and property management staff in Dubai and Sharjah, reporting directly to the CEO.
Other aspects of my role included gaining new listings, marketing/advertising, recruitment of staff, customer relations, budget making and financial reporting. My most notable achievement was winning the property management contract for a G+40 commercial and residential building on Sheikh Zayed Road. This will generate an annual income of several million Dirhams for Eqarat.com.
I was employed by Ludlow Thompson as Assistant Manager and was also acting manager in the absence of the lettings/area manager. My responsibilities included managing, motivating and coaching members of the lettings team, client and landlord negotiations, conducting property valuations, website marketing and client liaison.
