QA Equipment Assurance and Calibration

• Calibrate, monitor and maintain all inspection, measuring and test equipment used by Quality Assurance, Cigarette Manufacturing and Tobacco Processing.
• In collaboration with QSS Supervisor, establish a Preventive Maintenance and Calibration Plan to ensure that these equipment / instruments operate with the reliability required to produce quality results.
• Ensure the timely repair and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment and troubleshoot when equipment breakdowns occur in all QA laboratories.
• Monitor performance QA instruments that are sent to external, accredited laboratories for calibration and maintenance.
• Provide local Procurement with information related to service performance of 3 rd Party External Laboratory performing calibration and maintenance of QA equipment / instruments.
• Assist QSS Supervisor in the establishing plans and programs related to the calibration, maintenance, and update of all moisture and temperature meters at Tobacco Processing area.
