PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the operation, monitoring and maintenance of Central Plant equipment and facilities such as Steam Boiler System, Chiller System, Compress Air System, Ref Dryer, Vacuum System, Cooling Tower, etc..
• Conduct Preventive Maintenance of Facilities Equipments.
• Responsible for maintaining normal operation of Facilities Equip’t in order to avoid interruption to production.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Assurance
• Conduct and process quality checks following established work instructions and sampling plans, to ensure that all products and processes meet PMI standards,
Customer quality requirements, as well as, legal and regulatory requirements at the least possible cost.
Process Control
• Analyze test results obtained by utilizing appropriate statistical tools and techniques.
• Prepare report to QA Supervisor on any deviation or nonconformance observed.
• Perform required QA inspection and tests for Manufacturing machine and equipment qualification and commissioning.
• Prepare the required QA report related to Manufacturing machine and equipment qualification and commissioning and submit these either QA Engineer or QA Supervisor for evaluation.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
QA Equipment Assurance and Calibration
• Calibrate, monitor and maintain all inspection, measuring and test equipment used by Quality Assurance, Cigarette Manufacturing and Tobacco Processing.
• In collaboration with QSS Supervisor, establish a Preventive Maintenance and Calibration Plan to ensure that these equipment / instruments operate with the reliability required to produce quality results.
• Ensure the timely repair and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment and troubleshoot when equipment breakdowns occur in all QA laboratories.
• Monitor performance QA instruments that are sent to external, accredited laboratories for calibration and maintenance.
• Provide local Procurement with information related to service performance of 3 rd Party External Laboratory performing calibration and maintenance of QA equipment / instruments.
• Assist QSS Supervisor in the establishing plans and programs related to the calibration, maintenance, and update of all moisture and temperature meters at Tobacco Processing area.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs machine start-up, operation, shutdown and brand changeover of his assigned cigarette packing machine according to standard operating procedures.
• Checks material availability and conformity to specifications for his machine.
• Performs on-floor quality inspections and adjusts machine to correct any quality faults observed and reports to his supervisor any major quality non-conformities for immediate resolution.
• Perform shift machine cleaning procedures.
• Performs minor maintenance work and assists maintenance technicians as necessary.
• Suggests revisions and improvements on the cigarette manufacturing process.
• Prepares relevant shift reports, fill-up forms and checklists to record production, down-time and quality data.
• Maintain all tools assigned to him in proper working condition and return all defective tools for replacement.
• Uses the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) issued by management for safety and as defined in PM procedures.
• Conduct housekeeping activities and maintains a safe and healthy work environment consistent to PM standards and government regulations.
• Comply with the EHS policies and accident prevention, environmental and compliance programs. Review works areas for potential hazards and report hazards, injuries/illness, and other losses to their supervisors.
• Assumes other duties wherein he has received sufficient training within his section and as instructed by his immediate superior.
