During an 84 hour work week, I am responsible for designing all graphic design material for posters campaigns, presentation templates, brochures. Responsible for writing Toolbox Topics, Good News Stories and other articles, In-Country emails, HSE Alert System Communications, content for various HSE campaign initiatives, computer-based training modules, and presentations. Photographing HSE events and training exercises. Make daily updates to Safety Board. Use effective communication to present HSE initiatives to diverse groups spanning 63 nationalities during training courses such as New Hire Orientation and Safety Leadership Trainings. Coordinate events such as HSE conferences as well as staged photography sessions.

Health, Safety and Environmental Field Specialist

Responsible for conducting daily Safe Work Observations as well as Safety Audit Performance System of all Fluor departments located on Bagram Airfield ensuring that all employees are wearing correct Personal Protective Equipment to conduct their tasks, documents are current and accurate such as Job Safety Analysis and Safety Task Assignment, tools are inspected, chemicals are arranged accordingly and have Materials Safety Data Sheet documents and appropriate NFPA signage. Provide recommendations for corrective actions using the Fluor LOGCAP HSE Management System to department supervision. Conduct thorough incident investigations/reports by ensuring everyone is safe before taking a series of photographs of the scene and conducting interviews in order to compile the report. Participate in daily safety and value creation meetings throughout various departments to reinforce the safety initiative to all employees conducting work in that area.

• Responsible for over 20 different departments at Bagram Airfield involving approximately 600 of FGG and Subcontract employees to ensure that each remains compliant with HSE Safety standards by examining the areas to which they perform their work
• Responsible for conducting thorough incident investigations covering injuries, motor vehicle incidents (MVI), and property damage
• Responsible for delivering current HSE safety initiatives within an open forum by speaking in front of large audiences
• Responsible for writing the content of various Good News Stories, Toolbox Topics (TBT), Marketing Campaigns, Computer Based Trainings (CBT) such as Mandatory 5 and Permit to Work, HSE Alert communications, conference and instructional materials
• Directly responsible for designing marketing materials and overseeing language translation that target FGG and Subcontract personnel from non-English speaking nations
• Coordinate events such as HSE Manager’s Leadership Conferences as well as stage photographic sessions for marketing materials
