•Works with the Managing Director to ensure that strategic business priorities are identified, prioritized, executed and results measured.
•Assists the Managing Director in analyzing the proposals / data at hand to enable decision-making.
•Sets, with the Managing Director, action plans and recommendations where needed and communicates them to stakeholders.
•Works with functional or operational managers to ensure that pertinent and effective data are provided to the Managing Director and aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.
•Follows up with stakeholders on strategic projects and action plans to ensure timely implementation of deliverables.
•Tracks, monitors and reports KPIs of direct reporting managers by ensuring that tools and processes identify root causes of deviations and allow setting appropriate corrective actions.
•Performs internal audits on non-technical departments according to ISO 9001:2008 standard as part of the Internal Audit Committee.

•Managed the planning and execution of maintenance tasks and tests to be run (e.g. environmental conditions, calibration, High Efficiency Particulate Air filters integrity testing).
•Set the department’s objectives and budget with the manager and monitored their implementation as per defined timelines.
•Assisted the manager in leading a team of 1 maintenance supervisor, 1 maintenance engineer and 2 technicians.
•Prepared performance reviews on equipment & utilities, qualification/validation protocols for new or renovated systems and facilities, and supervised their execution.
•Developed and revised the standard operating procedures of the department. Trained the engineering team and/or concerned departments accordingly.
•Prepared and Implemented preventive / corrective action plans to cater for any deviation from approved procedure and for requirements of internal and external audits (GMP and ISO 9001).

 MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS
• Designed and Implemented the Maintenance Management System to ensure timely maintenance of all critical machines and utilities.
• Designed and Implemented the Suppliers Management Process
• Designed and Implemented the Testing Method for High Efficiency Particulate Air filters to ensure required quality of air inside production areas

 PROJECTS
• Jan 2014 to present: Design and Implement program for Occupational Health & Safety in the company compliant with OHSAS 18001:2007 standard.
• Mar 2012 to Sep 2013: Coordinated the project of Re-engineering Procedures related to qualification of facilities, systems and equipment.
• May 2012 to Jan 2013: Set up the userrequirements for the design of a new plant facility as a Member of the Project Management team.
• Sep 2010 and Nov 2011: Organized with an International Consultant in Pharmaceutical Engineering 2 workshops concerning new industry trends for technical managers.
