-Responsible for supervising, directing and coordinating the inspection team.
-Conduct weekly meetings with Site Engineer and Project Engineer regarding QC matters and Health and Safety issues.
-Prepare and Monitor QA/QC activities and maintain records.
-Ensuring that Material Approval Request (MAR) are complete and in compliance with the contract documents.
-Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor submitted plans.
-Where problems are found, work with Project Engineer and Site Engineer to resolve.
-Assist to identify, respond to or evaluate technical issues to maintain the schedule.
Major Function:
- Quality inspection of contractor’s works to ensure strict compliance with the plans and specifications.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the Owner Developer in the overall management and control of the project cost, schedule, and quality of work in the project.
- Handles Electrical and Auxiliary Works (Fire Detection and Alarm System, Telephone System & Security System), Generators, Bus ducts.
- Conducts full inspection of the contractor’s works to ensure conformance with plans and specifications:
Familiarization and complete understanding of the plans, specifications and other construction documents applicable to the particular work or construction package, to manage and inspect the interfacing of same to the other work or construction packages.
Documents significant construction activities and contractor’s daily activities.
Monitors contractor’s construction schedule, records delays, determines causes, and recommends appropriate solutions.
Records inspection and test data.
Anticipates and assists in the solution of field problems
- Prepares shop drawing and plan using Auto Cad Software.
- Coordinate with Design Consultants regarding Bid Queries.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities and Cost Estimate.
- Conduct full inspection of Contractor’s works to assure conformance with plans and specifications.
- Evaluates contractor’s billing
- Issues notice to comply and notice of violation for non-conforming works and materials.
- Conduct equipment plant inspection.
- Prepares quantity take-off and cost estimate
- Monitor the compliance of contractors with the approved safety, sanitation, and security programs.
- Prepares punch list, monitors, and follow-ups completion of contractor’s remaining works.
- Secures checks and verifies contractor’s as-built drawings.
- Conducts final inspection, testing and commissioning, and prepares logbook.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

- Monitor all dilapidated electrical pull box/ panel boards, and report to owner to condemn it and suggest to replace it to new one for safety of the hospital.
- Prepare works, manpower, tools equipment schedule needed for the completion of all electrical in accordance with the contract.
- Responsible to the preparation of materials take-off and cost proposal regarding changes (based on SI/FI) in the work or in the plans and specification of the project.
- Responsible to the preparation of the monthly progress accomplishment based on the actual completed and accepted work for the monthly progress billing.
- Prepare all paper works necessary for the completion and turnover of the project.
- Assures that execution of the project plans complied with the contract documents and no violation occur.
- Performed all testing required under the technical provision of the specification

-Responsible for the preparation of the progress and monitoring report such as daily activities, weekly and monthly accomplishment report ( on plan and actual basis ).
-Responsible for the preparation of the material take-off and cost proposals regarding changes ( based on SI/FI/WAO ) in the work or in the plans and specification of the project.
-Responsible for the preparation of the monthly progress accomplishment base on actual completed and accepted work for the monthly progress billings.
-Prepares all paper works necessary for the completion and turn over of the project.
-Perform all testing required under the technical provisions of the specifications.
-Review and submit all submittal for owner 's approval.
-Inspect materials as they are delivered on site to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings and contract specifications.
-Conduct phase inspection ( preparatory, initial and follow -up )
- Assures that the execution of the project plans complied with the contact documents and no violation of the latter occur.
