The primary function of the H2S Specialist is to assist the client with protecting the safety of all personnel in the worksite. The H2S Safety Specialists have extensive industrial experience, plus a comprehensive training program specifically designed to meet high quality standards and customers expectation. Some of the functions fulfilled by our H2S Safety Specialists are described below:
1. Monitor compliance of all personnel with established client policy and safety guidelines.
2. Inspect and maintain safety equipment supplied to the project.
3. Instruct contractor personnel in the proper response to emergency situations, alarm conditions and gas-to-surface conditions.
4. Instruct contractor personnel in the use of breathing apparatus including safe mask up procedures and equipment limitations.
5. Conduct practical drills to practice the use of breathing apparatus.
6. Familiarize personnel with designated safe briefing areas and the safety equipment in each area.
7. Instruct and supervise personnel in safe evacuation out of a hazardous area.
8. Familiarize personnel with duties and responsibilities outlined in an Emergency Response Plan.
9. Conduct inspections of safety equipment a minimum of twice per shift.
10. Provide training in:
- H2S Awareness
- Specific Jobsite Hazards
- Rescue Procedures
- Personal Protective Equipment Placement and Use.
11. For service technician, provides all services and equipment maintenance to all Aramco drilling rigs.
12. Troubleshoot all related problems in particular equipments.
13. Has good experience in working in the completion sites, drilling rigs, servicing and underbalanced operations.
