• Develop, Manage, implement, maintain and update effective & efficient Supply Chain management processes and procedures for the long term operations of the APLNG facility on Curtis Island.
• Supervise, lead and manage the Supply Chain Team in safe operations that comply with ConocoPhillips Internal Control Standards and other policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
• Lead the repairs function to support requirements from Operations, Maintenance and other departments throughout production facility to achieve Operational excellence.
• Responsible for the management and approving of Purchase Requisitions, Request for Quotations & Purchase Orders within the SAP system for the Supply Chain function.
• Manage the transportation of materials to and from the mainland Supply Base and Curtis Island from local, interstate & global vendors, ensuring all materials are packed securely as to not cause further damage during transport.
• Create and manage an environment that attracts, retains, motivates develops people to work as a member of a safe effective and efficient repairs and materials management team.
• Build relationships with the key positions in Maintenance and Operations with a focus on the collaboration between work groups.
•Attend Leadership Team meetings with Operations and Maintenance when required.
•Manage the APLNG Downstream out of hour’s on call system.
•Manage the requirements of Internal Control Standards and SOX requirements and other policy procedural documents.
• SAP-IM, RM, QA, MRP systems Tools and WMS Inventory systems management.
•Review and perform Personal Management Profiles for Supervisors mid year and end of year. Provide valid feedback an support to Team members on KPI's, Developmental Goals and individual development plans.
Co-ordinaton and management of the Marine Logistics supply chain for the Asia Pacific, LNG Construction Project for Bechel Oil Gas and Chemicals, Australia.
Providing first line co-ordination and direction to various sub contractors involved in movement of RO/RO cargo on LCT barges from mainland facilities, to the projects island construction base.
Co-ordination of Road Transport cargo from interstate supply vendors to the Logistics hub.
Liaison/logistics co-ordination with Shipping Agents and Stevedores receiving break bulk cargo from Shipping lines.
Construction and Project Management liaison with relation to prioritisation and vessel planning, to meet specific logistics and construction based requirements.
Identify cost initiatives to maintain Budget lines and fleet utilisation to maximise uplift and vessel capacity.
Deliver project control deadlines and core supply line deliverables to meet construction milestone and completion dates.
Staff management and development including mentoring and leadership.
Co-ordinate the delivery of freight for site works and co ordination with Project material Laydown yards for transhipment to site location.

Management and control of “Ship to Barge” operations for Out of Guage/oversized cargo transfer to the construction site.
Oversee the Freight Forwarding contract and KPI reporting on shipment progress and budget allocations.
Operational planning and developing Freight Forwarding supply chain for road frieight to Port.
Initiating contractor and sub-contract negotiations to fullfill budget requirements to move vehicles, Sea Containers and Hevay equipment by Land, Sea and Air.
Provide management guidance to locally employed National Staff to encourage development and experience in Logistics Supply Chain environments.
Provide on-going support to United Nations Contracted elements and produce accurate documentation and reporting of contract performance.
Carry our audit and process reporting on Freight Forwarding Contractors to ensure they meet the requirments and timlines for delivery from Land Hub to Port of Loading.

• Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the operational effectiveness; establishing and administering procedures, requirements and polices related to MOVCON specialized activities
• Organised periodic visits to sections within the region to ensure compliance with the quality assurance procedures in regards to all operational equipment used by MOVCON sections in the region
• Arranged for troop redeployments and movement of their equipment in conformity with the UN Regulations and guidelines as well as manage all documentation of the statistical data
• Ensured better awareness of Movement and Logistics Operations in the mission area and improved performances across the Region.

• Interface with Force elements and Co-ordination of Military Aircraft operations within the Area of Operations.
Completion of 6th Form certificate and High School Education. 18 years service as Logistics Officer in the New Zealand Defence Force. 5 Years service in the United Nations as Regional Logistics Officer/Movements Control Officer- (Responsible for management of 250+ staff, 12 airfield locations, a fleet of 40+ rotary and fixed wing aircraft, set up and instigate a Heavy Transport Unit to establish road convoys to reduce costs).
