Responsibilities:
Carry out the inspection under electrical discipline
Preparing daily documentation of the work progress
Responsible for the inspection of E&I installations that include grounding, earthing/bonding, cathodic protection, cable tray & cabling, duct bank, UG/AG raceways, panels, power transformers, consoles & wiring termination as per ITP, project specification and standards
Carryout material inspection at storage area upon arrival to ensure its conformity to the project specifications and purchase order
Tracking and recording of “Request for Inspections” (RFI’s) and work progress on site
Attend quality and progress meetings with contractors to resolve construction / quality issues. Coordinate with commissioning and construction personnel for mechanical completion and work priority
Conduct random inspections to ensure that safe working practices are followed for quality compliance
Coordinate/follow-up with contractors to clear the A-punch items prior to commissioning of a system
Review and comment/approve the work package issued by the contractor as per Quality Verification Document (QVD) prior to construction or installation
